With the campaign on, I tried out Monstrosity finally; turns out Bars is not a fan;
It gives an endlessly repeating runtime error in the Feretory of:
"Bars.lua:6113: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)"

I wonder what's happening with besieged. They had scheduled the final besieged update for January, then it got delayed, but apparently, it's not even making February.
Yeah this was my only real disappointment, knowing they originally had the Besieged update scheduled for January and had already talked about it coming soon, I was hoping the delay was just a minor one and we'd see it for Feb.
I never really expect major surprises in the monthly updates though, especially in the off-months from their Limbus revisions which so far have been getting substantial updates every 3 months - June September December 2025, so March 2026 would be next up if that schedule persists. |

LAZY ; ; #FixBeastMaster. As much as I wholeheartedly support this, I acknowledge it wouldn't be an easy task even with a full fledged team, imagine now with their skeleton crew.
Something they could and should do at least is some small QoL stuff.
Ilevel pets for pets which haven't been upgraded yet?
Loosening the 9 yalms distance thing they added in the early Escha era when people were slamming everything to the ground with semi-afk BST armies?
I mean I can understand why they did it BACK THEN, but right now do we still need such a limitation? If not remove it at least make it a bit less tight, I dunno.
Small stuff like that is something they definitely should do.
But "fixing" the job to the root is frankly impossible at this point imho. |

I appreciate your enthusiasm! The engine is the part of the project that I'm most proud of. That being said, I just don't have the availability for open-source collaboration & community-management. I would definitely still be happy to write up some documentation, though.
If someone is happy with the existing mechanics in the game-mode, then I think content-creation is not too technically challenging. For example, this is the configuration for Abyssea - La Theine, and this is the behaviour for Carabosse. With a bit of documentation, I imagine these would be fairly digestible - though, I'm obviously biased here :)

It was SE acknowledging our request for job adjustments in the 2024 survey results.
Yeah, they're adding blue spell maps and puppet atachment presets.
What, you wanted other jobs adjusted? They're fine though, you got master levels to fix the bad spots, now if you dont mind they need to take a decade to work on ilvl campaign. Really though ill be shocked if they ever do some real job adjustments again, especially for pet jobs |

First of all, dingus. Don't equate playing Beastmaster with mental illness. I literally play every job.
I didn't say anything about a mental illness being related to playing BST. If you're still holding out hope they "fix BST" (they've said numerous times this is how they feel BST should be played, within 5 yalmks, ready system, fake Palworld), you're coping really hard.
I prefer to keep SE accountable for the things they say they're going to do. New content drops usually come with new BST pets
When did they say they were going to do this? Maybe I missed it, please share. |

No Bars update at least. I shutdown and restarted in case there was a Windower update and no issues there either. I did see someone else post an issue with an addon not working correctly after a recent Windower update, though it's weird that myself and nobody else I know running Bars has had any issue if it was a recent Windower update that changed something. Possibly related? I'm honestly not sure.
I'm going to guess you're using Windower in `Window` mode? That is a known issue with how Windower returns mouse and text object positions (I should specify, I have no idea if the Windower folks know about it, it's just something I've discovered while writing addons that use mouse controls). The numbers Windower returns don't match up when running in `Window` mode. If you are using Borderless Window or Fullscreen, then I'm honestly not sure what the issue could be, you should be able to just grab the green highlighted bar and drag it to where you want it just like in the gif in the github page. You can still use the settings.xml file for all the positions settings though if that is not working for you :) |

Yeah, I assumed anyone who has gone for the 1000+ day titles already got 100% mementos, since you can do all of them in under a year or so. It's been ages since I dealt with them.

I have everything except for Einherjar and Meebles done, though the latter is basically just throwing away like 20-25 million gil on completing it if I really wanted to (or a shitload of time spent doing runs lol). I was waiting but figured I'd post here also for context as I am still Rank 8 like Kayte. Been pushing Monstrosity to see if this pushes me over to 9 as I have more than others who have posted without one more MT and I am running out of things to try. I would expect finishing Crystal Paradise would push me over, but would be helpful to see getting Rank 9 without it.

What kind of lazy *** ***of this? :( We have had seven consecutive months of relatively major updates to Limbus, Dynamis, Lilith HTMB, Coalition Assignments, Besieged and other systems but one month of just Ambuscade updates (which is all we were getting not too long ago) is suddenly lazy? There is a zero percent chance that anyone is completely done with Limbus (unless you're actively avoiding the content, which I fully respect) so I cannot imagine how you're in need of more brand new content. Some of y'all gotta check your entitlement and be grateful for what we do get. |

I know they are adding more rewards to buy with imperial standing accolades, and that's probably related to the hold up, but I wonder if they're doing something for the final update besides cranking up the ilevel and that's contributing too.

I believe set_combine() is just combining the table spaces in the lua only the final combination is sent to the client. so if "main" gets overwritten 5 times the game only sees the last one (I could be wrong about this). So I don't think that is the issue.
Search the rest of your file for "Honor" or "Marsyas" (I noticed your name space is inconsistent between your precast and midcast there). Its possible something is being done with those sets? Maybe you need to add them else where.

It was never shown drawable in sky (or any of the other places it's used), so it wouldn't be noticable to anyone who hasn't explored memory or packets.

So Genoxd's data doesn't have the full 5% spread but if you take the avg values and use 2.5% you can get something directional. I tried fitting ftp @3k = 11,12,13,14 but only found ftp = 13 with 40% STR and 40% MND fitting well. Anything else overshot/undershot in one of the situations. See below for calculations flooring only the WSC modifier. It would be interesting to verify further on this.
You have wrong base. Its stage 4 227. The only thing that fits is 13.5 fTP and 40% STR/MND. |

I would look into interaction with packetflow, maybe something regressed. Enable packetflow for all zones and see if that triggers it more easily outside instanced areas.
Have had the same behaviour before, but only in instanced areas. |

Morraltach (Su5) might be one to look at too for the non-Burt PLD? HP/MP/DEF, C path for Cure Potency and Refresh+4 (without needing any aftermath).
This is my general use weapon. I absolutely advocate for using it in main healing situations. Likewise, it pair well with Srivatsa. I've tanked most endgame content with it with minimal issues.

Don't forget, that Regen/Refresh can't be dispelled, save for removing the weapon. It might not be game breaking, but it's a lot better than "not much above useless." At least in my opinion.
