Does anyone have a current BiS Cloudsplitter set?

https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/All_Jobs_Gear_Sets/Warrior

Basically lots of Nyame with whatever you can scrape for +MAB in other slots.

Something like this
Code
STR_Back = {name="Cichol's Mantle", augments={'STR+20','Accuracy+20 Attack+20','STR+10','Weapon skill damage +10%',}}

sets.Cloud = {
  ammo="Knobkierrie",
  head="Nyame helm",
  neck="Baetyl pendant",
  ear1="Friomisi earring",
  ear2="Moonshade earring",
  body="Nyame mail",
  hands="Nyame gauntlets",
  ring1="Epaminondas's Ring",
  ring2="Karieyh ring +1",
  back=STR_Back,
  waist="Orpheus's sash",
  legs="Nyame flanchard",
  feet="Nyame sollerets"
}

I think every country must have its particularities.

I think youre skills are pretty solid, I dont see you having any trouble finding a place.

If you were a brazillian, I would say you could go in the following ways:

1. Try to work for the government. Here, those works are available through tests. It is a pretty good way to go if you have nowledge but no experience or soft skills to pass in an interview.

2. Setup you Linkdln and try to work from there to find oppoertunities and to be found by companies.

3. Send your curriculmm to any company regardless if there is work or not. The HR department probably will save your curriculum and present it when the needs arise.

4. Now what I would try to do is to send your curriculum to companies that outsorrce squads. My company dont hired directly people in the market. Instead, it firm a contract with those HR companies, that will do all the heavy lifting of hiring people and making them available. I particularly think this option is quite accessible because those outsource contracts deal with large number of professionals, so they can always fit you somewhere you can work well.

Immediately start contacting people at your school/in your department. There is a high likelihood that they have internships or co-op partnerships or connections with external companies in this field. There are usually people in each department at least partially dedicated to stimulating commercial engagement with their students.

Build your resume- edit each resume to each job posting. When it gets through the filters and into a human's hands, know that they are looking for specific things and how this role will interact with their team. Write directly to that person.

Use strong language in your resume. Avoid phrases like
'helped contribute to' = what did you actually do?
'oversaw' = so it was done without your intervention?

Goodluck!

Lying on your resume. That's what you should be doing. Give your friends made up job titles for made up companies and use them as references. The worst that can happen is you'll be rejected for the role, and that's already happening now anyway.

I’ve found having more than one automaton on it isn’t the best idea. It messes with the SCing of the one overdriving.
One pup, one COR, rest are just there for gallantry.

So if you take less of the drug, the hit later will be better.

Yeah.. don't see that working.

Data isn't enough because there are too many *** here willing to contaminate it.

Vana'Bout 1? SE set a goal for upgrades based on prior participation. The problem was that the prior month was the frog ambuscade. Players create/reactivate tons of alts/mules during this month and carry them all through the content for spoils. How are they supposed to know how much of the frog ambuscade is actual players participating and how much is noise?

Sorry, it's just depressing reading so many comments about how SE is *** up when it's actually us not taking responsibility for how much we contribute to them *** up.

Have fun with all your alts next month in ambuscade.

smart enough to know that a WHM has a much lesser impact on DPS than a DD job does.
The first WHM has a much greater impact on DPS than the DD job does. Party stays alive, damage stays up.

If you want to add 12 additional WHMs then sure, HP scaling is kind of bad for you. But, my experience has been that aside from 1hr zergs any real player who's making an effort is worth the HP scaling they add. Idle mules aren't.

You might want to check that ego some, because the set you posted is really nothing novel. We've been using similar Ukon AM3 sets since forever. It's not even the best possible set for it, no matter if you want total DPS or spike damage for the nnnngh.

Sorry bro.

Maybe we deserve this content because we didn't fight back

Back in the day, SE reduced the experience points required to level at the higher end down to something more reasonable. This was done because they could look at the numbers and see that people were lagging behind or falling off at a certain point. Players weren't botting for days on end to overcome the steep curve so SE could actually look at the data and make the correct choice.

Today, that data is saturated with people botting for days on end, paying mercs/RMT to accelerate their progress or creating tons of alts to convert XI to single player game. Why is anyone surprised that SE has no clue what to do anymore? People think they're getting over, but they're making it worse...

I agree with your point, but I guess for me it's the difference between Data and Anecdata. The data can paint a picture, but it can't tell you the experiences.

I'm not sure if it's reasonable to have people hired in a ... however old FFXI is now game, who play it at a level and are able to report their findings. Or running frequent, player based qualitative surveys.

But it's clear that Data is not enough to give an impression of what the modern game actually is to people.

The AI result has been corrected above for the Odyssey NQ and HQ campaigns as you described it.
From this incredibly simple formula, easily derived from SE or the bg wiki, you can figure out anything you want to know about the bonus. No AI needed.

We're in agreement. I thought AI might generate an explanation that was easy for other folks to understand. (I did the math myself years ago). Probably not worth it to kill the planet. I'm sorry, Earth. :(

One could argue it's the only thing AI is useful for because if you use it for something you don't understand how would you know it isn't just hallucinating?

Generally speaking, everyone present should be there with the goal of increasing the party/alliance's DPS
This is not what I said though. I said "it implies every character has an equal impact on DPS", and I would like to believe you're smart enough to know that a WHM has a much lesser impact on DPS than a DD job does.

BEST SET looks stupid yes but if you wanna do 15k-40k Auto attacks trust me

if you have Indris GEO and a solid COR buffing you can hit 14k Consistently also with these you can reach that 40k

Double Attack JPS cape on WAR is dumb no reason to have 112% Double attack instead get the Crit hit RATE on war +10% don't believe me try it out

love to see everyone with ukonvasara do my recommendation

Last couple of years I haven't participated in Nanowrimo's novel sprint because I was either super stuck and/or that website was plagued with scandal. But now the scandal has finally caused them to just shut down and Reedsy has taken over the competition, and even offers better rewards. And more importantly, I'm actually positioned to participate.

I don't think any of the latest content had anything really planned out. Seems so okish before the 6-month grind was implemented - now we have round 2 with Limbus. Maybe we deserve this content because we didn't fight back

I dont think when SE made Sortie, they built it with the expectation that groups would be doing 8NM+Aminon on a regular basis

So just build alliance content, scale the difficulty for 6-10 players, and let the players figure out the optimal ways.
By NynJa on 2025-10-31 18:03:57
Except the initial statement never states a blanket "moogle segments acquired will be increased by 50%", you're inferring that for whatever reason. The initial statement states there will be a change to the reward for reaching the vortex and then lists what the changes are. There is no need to repeat "for touching the Vortex" multiple times when the opening statement states that the campaign changes only apply to the rewards for touching the vortex.
