Rank 7 Currently (started at rank 6 last week Doing Bastok & Sandy quest). Did Nearly all of Windy & Jueno Quest
Got Blobdingnag & Yilbean Titles but did not rank up.
Starting on outlands quest next. damn I started as 6 trying to 7.
went from 430 -> 780 ROEs
titles 417 -> 630
ranked 3 nations to 10
finisherd ACP(all storyline complete now)
golden shovel + ygnas
craft to 0>110 with several subs 70
fame capped all regular and 2 abyssya
all homepoints/survival guide
finished almost windy/bastok quests prob about 10 left
monstrosity tiger lvl 83. about 15 new species unlocked
Still 6. I must be missing something obvious but at this point its comical.
Did you buy 1 piece of armor for each Nation rank1-10 (x3 nations = 30 titles in total)? Make sure you buy an actual armor, like head/body/hands/legs or feet. I'm not sure if every item in a given rank counts. Better safe than sorry.
Also, did you trade Kupipi a rolanberry? Even the quests that are not in your quest log count, too.

NNI for craft mats and gear (assuming the stuff is in NNI now)
Is that pure speculation, or did they say anything that gave that impression?
Mats at least are, LS person got a Vicuna Cloth.

For me this is an unexpected small victory. Closing in on completing a couple 75 Mythics and I just have some Tokens and all the ZNMs left to do. Was already planning to do some Nyzul this weekend, so sure, I'll take my chances with the lower NNI token yield in hopes of also getting some ZNM pops out of it!
Situations like these always makes me think there is more to it then there is. Maybe the Nyzul ??? items have a higher rate of rarity ;)
That's the kind of wishful thinking that leads one to disappointment ;)

It's a very questionable decision, but it could be a great alternative for hybrid/DT sets.
Worth spending hundreds of millions of gil plus months of your life grinding? Hell no. But I think looking at it purely from the perspective of "is this BiS for damage?" is a bit short-sighted, especially in a game like FFXI where the answers to those questions are almost always "for what situation?"
So, to your point, I'll elaborate on different scenarios. For enfeebling BP's it would be BIS because of the accuracy bonuses, but people generally do not use smn for enfeebling with how strong rdm is. For enhancing, it brings nothing to the table with 0 smn skill or any kind of buff duration trait. aside from the single favor +, which would help your favor bonus slightly, there's no enhancing or buff benefit to the gear. it's worse than every BP damage piece available individually, and when you factor in mab or atk, they just don't stand a chance. without a tp bonus trait, it won't eclipse anything for AFAC, and from the magical side, the magic acc is nice sure, but since smn already gets an innate magic acc bonus for all pet spells, it's unnecessary, and the only viable food for smn largely buffs the accs. from a defensive stance, the empy set has -35 DT, so you could technically sub in these for the hands and feet for a couple extra points, but most people already have the D ring and now murky. it doesn't have any perp - or bp delay, or refresh or even regen. to me, it feels like they didn't know where to put smn, so they slapped it on here and just have them nyami level BP damage as the r 30 augment and called it a day. it's not even good for melee outside of the high acc, which again, if you're having to melee on smn, then you have other things to be concerned with. barring unlocking the mythic WS or nirvana trials. even then, you'd probably wear nyami for the DA

Thanks for vana-time, cause there is a 0% chance that the two people who can update the bgwiki main page would ever get to a spur of the moment event like this before it ended. It's fantastic to have a resource that keeps players informed without having to F5 the Playonline page every day.

There is a visible difference for sure. Is that evidence enough to be banned? Probably not.
If you see GM Dave soloing Fafnir, test it out. My man, this was you a couple posts up
It's at least plausibly deniable that you're using in game /follow. The difference between FF and /follow isnt even close.

You will get 3/4 matters a week per zone. 31/3 = 10.33 weeks, 31/4 = 7.75 weeks. Since it won't be even each week per zone its 9/10 weeks worth of matters per piece. Units are the second obstacle but being able to use either zone really helps.
This is just not true. Once you get into the mid-twenties, the RP per level is such that you'll be earning matter faster than you can spend it. Speaking as someone who has done the earring grind, I was left with 12 matters when I hit R30. And I didn't even figure out the rotating chest gimmick until more than halfway through that. I also suspect the incremental grace improvement is enhancing matter drop rate, as I'm 16/20 the last 3 weeks.
Doesn't change my point. The 9/10 weeks worth of matters per piece. (30 from each zone) Units may take longer based on what you said.
But the gear you can use either areas units, the accessories were confined to 1 area.
They'll probably make Jewels chest items or come from another source if I had to guess.

I must be doing something wrong because I'm lucky to get 3 matter a week per zone.

Correct and 9-10 weeks per piece of gear to R30. Gouging on Asura? Please. Plenty of world first chasing billionaires. Gil is not the issue on Asura I promise you.
Once you rank your first piece up to 30, you will have excess matters, as units are the limiting factor. You can use units from each zone to rank your items. 50k per week per zone, and 620k~ to R30 a piece. So 6~ weeks once you get your max units and matter stocks up.

i dont know why they even bothered putting any BPD on the augs, they dont really replace anything SMN already has access to. I know, it's a bit confusing. I know people were hoping that the mab applied to the pet as well, and if that were the case, it would be solid, but in the absence of that . . .

The gear isn't selling on Asura. Says everything about the Augment process IMO.
The gear is solid but the RP process needs to be thrown in the trash and revamped.
It’s not selling bc people are gouging, and rightly so. 10 135 clears take like ~8hrs a week. Please get a grip. Your repeated moaning isn’t helpful.

They still move instantly the moment the lead character moves. It has nothing to do with min/max distance.
If you cant tell the difference between a group using /follow and a group using fastfollow, you're either ignorant or feigning ignorance.

Minimum and max distance for following can be adjusted per char with FF.

|
 |
|

/follow just using the game systems has a delay and it's a proper follow. Which is why they get stuck on corners etc.
Fastfollow does not, it's instant and they all move as one. At least all the ones I see using it move that way, it's cringe how obvious it is.
