We have an open office setup so I have to unpack my backpack of all my stuff and set it up and tear it down everyday.

Laptop, keyboard, mouse, 3D mouse, numberpad (because a full keyboard doesn't fit in my bag), charging brick, headphones, desk fan...

I was staring at my blank desk this morning just thinking how stupid this is. I'm taking a half day today so I'll be packing all this BS back up in 4 hours.

The decisions that are made at these big companies are getting increasingly stupid everyday.

Being self-employed is its own level of ***, depending what field you are in. It made me suspicious of everyone and everything and took me a decade to relearn to relax.

As the BRD kiting downstairs, having someone upstairs stream on discord their perspective to get HP values and a sense of the pace helped a TON.

You could pop NiTro after you got a lead on the Tulfair, then hermes quencher upstairs to reapply threnody. If your fast enough you could reapply a song too. Depends when you do it. Having Paeons or Minnes on yourself helps of course, giving you the leniency to get hit while downstairs a couple times

The WHM could also be a GEO but imo that's a Staff, not a Club - it's 2-handed.

though to be annoyingly pedantic, they said "exclusive spoils" which doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be gear. this is SE we're talking about... it could be a stack of fireworks. it could be a new vorseal. it could be a trust. it could be a KI that gives you AMAN hints at some stupidly low rate.

they're also not the greatest/most reliable with translations...


...could mean that if you've beaten RoV you can get something exclusive via AMAN.

but whatever it is, i think we're all prepared for disappointment by now.

Lilisette is the quick DD.

Lion maybe the heavy DD?

Iroha could be heavy DD, but her "you can't kill me" gimmick makes her the most likely candidate for tank.

Arciela gets the nuking accessory.

And yeah, Nashmeira is the "why would you ever choose this" accessory. Or, who knows, maybe it will magically make pet jobs worth playing seriously in the 2025 meta.

I'd kind of like to see a different sort of breakdown, though. Like... enchantment: reraise iv, 18% movement speed, crafting speed +30, food duration +50%?

Or I'd settle for a "pick any single other storyline completion reward" option; a second Voracious Resurgence ring would beat pretty much anything SE could give us for Rhapsodies.

Thinking a little deeper into the new RoV rewards we have coming. I get the feeling there will be a list of 6 accessories to choose from. One for each of the heroines portrayed at the end of the story.

Anyone wanna try to make guesses on what kind of stat each heroine would focus on?

Iroha would probably be some form of DD accessory, maybe Store TP, among other things.

Lillisette I think might get some multi-attack.

Arciela would probably be some form of mage ring, since she's a RDM?

Prishe is a MNK, so probably another DD ring?

Nashmeira would probably be pet related.

Lion could be DD related as well.

Obviously not all of those 4 I listed as DD's would be DD rings, one would probably be tank related instead. And there could be something else in there with some form of random stat also. Kind of like how we have the movement speed ring from Seekers. or the crafting ring.

Let's theorycraft some stat guesses!

I throw away lots of stuff, useless kitchen stuff bought and used once especially. The other stuff stays in the literal cupboard.

Correct, claim works the same as it does on regular mobs. We used to bring a BLU or RDM to sleep, but for solo entry you'd need to rely on AATT and practice.

Solo entry is definitely a step up from trio difficulty, but casual players these days have a ton of extra power we didn't have back then. Fresh 99's in Ambu gear? Nah. But once they get stars, maybe low ~10-15 ML, some un-augmented Ody gear, or start reforging empy? Yeah, totally do-able, and most players in that zone are still going to need unlocks. Some jobs might take more than one run to get to 100 kills, but that's fine.

Does it even work like that? I’ve never used trusts in Dynamis. I thought you can’t have an alliance with trusts? And even if you had 3 separate parties, it sounds like you can’t share claim
