I don't understand people who go into a store and ask employees where every item they want is instead of reading the *** signs. Hell, we have fulfillment and delivery. Just put in an order and stay home.

R17 on the NQs of those feet are @ triple 2%
Guessing it will be 1% every 2 ranks starting at r15, which will track with the 7% final value
This is what I was thinking, but that would put it at 7% at R27. I wonder if the augments were mixed up by slot and it should be 6% TA at R25 for feet? Then phalanx would finish by R30.
How would 7% progression be for legs then though if you think TA goes up only from R15 to R25? I don't think 1% at R15 and 2% at R17 means anything tbh. It can still goes to 6 or 7.
Maybe for legs, the second augment starts at R13 to get the extra level? My original guess was that the 2nd aug would start at r16, similar to the earring, so starting at R15 is a little weird imo. I'm still holding out hope that the second aug is finished by R25, but who really knows.

What does it mean when a group of ex-employees leave your company to make a small startup that then outsells all your products combined within a couple years.
Oh I remember. It means your company sucks. Yeah, that's it.

Not what I was expecting, but Sworn feet got first TA aug at R15. Might have a better idea on aug progression next week with more matters.
Based on Wiki augments it looks like Phalanx is the last stat for augments so it makes sense.

For weapon/shield combos… how does Excalibur with either Priwen, Aeonic, or duban s2 fair? I know Burt is the staple, but it’s NOT(edit) on the table currently.
I use it often for Sortie.
Seraph > burning > flat > savage > KoR is my our D objective SC.
It’s also the best weapon for Aminon.
The AM is very good as well.

I saw, i'm pretty patient, and if i were doing it that way if I did 1 nyzul run after ambu I'd finish nyzul well before the 10 months it'd take to get the alex.
Not that it matters, I appreciate the opinions, obviously we all have different things some of us find more unbearable than others. (plus with ambu some have annoying fight mechanics or just finding people to do it with can be problematic, or people have the wrong jobs for meta strats)
My sense is if you took a 1000 characters and said cannonball run style come back with enough gil for 30k alex, the nyzul tokens or a crep item, the few folks who get lucky with drops (or HQ craft) would likely finish first (since there's 0 ways to short cut tokens), and there's probably a few players who can more consistently make that kind of gil quickly enough, although to be fair that's probably a least an hr of camping the AH for 303 stacks of alex and more time trading the rat, (maybe 10% of the nyzul time?) but no one doing tokens would finish in the bottom half.

Does just fine. Can do literally anything in the game with it. Shield is the only thing that would change depending on content.

The 30th anniversary of the first release of Pokemon Red and Green is next month, so this year is being considered the 30th anniversary of Pokemon!
It makes me miss the forum user Chuuuuu! Heh
I've been rewatching Gen 1 Indigo League of the anime. It's so dopey and the dub is over the top, but it's super comfy nostalgia. Plus I never saw all of the episodes back then anyway.
Seems like Netflix is gonna run out of episodes after the 52nd episode though. Hmm. Dang.
30 years.. we are getting old. I hope there is a classic compilation game like some people are saying, that would be neat or something for the anniversary.
I met someone the other day named "Tai" and I asked them if they knew Digimon and they said no. Either I'm getting old or he lives under a rock, but both Digimon and Pokemon are old! 26 and 30 years old. Digimon hasn't kept going quite as hard. It's considered niche now, I think.
Which is weird to think about, since it had several shows, and Ange-Womon is freakin' hawt. Like right up Zoomer's alley.
But yeah... We old! My oldest brother turned 45 recently, and one of my Sortie static members is somehow... appparently... 47 or some such and turning 48 this year (and he likes Pokemon too btw lmao we had a nerd out about how you could make a Naakual themed pokemon team even).
Using Gen 1 Pokemon:
Beedrill = Colkhab / Xevioso (though a newer one, Vespiqueen fits better honestly)
Dewgong = Kumhau / Arebati (a really really new one called Pao Chien or something fits better honestly)
Charizard = Achuka / Kalunga
Exeggutor = Yumcax / Mboze (though a more new pokemon Trevenant fits the bill better honestly)
Gyarados = Tchukka / Ngai (Sharpedo is more sharky but he's Gen 3)
Zapdos = Hurkan / Ongo

I vaguely remember that the Mana Wall % term caps at 95% (base 50%, job points 20%, feet 25%), and thus you don't really benefit from Kaumodaki or Taranus's Cape unless you're trying to wear gaiters with mana wall up.
However, I can't find any testing to that effect. Does it exist? Am I hallucinating?

OK so, if Mastery Rank is affected by the extra skill you get through Master Levels and you want to juice it, these are the jobs and the skills they're best at:
* WAR - GA
* MNK - H2H, Guard
* WHM - Divine, Healing
* BLM - Elemental, Dark
* RDM - Enfeebling, Enhancing
* THF - Dagger, Evasion
* PLD - Sword, Club, Staff, Shield
* DRK - Scythe, Dark
* BST - Axe
* BRD - String, Wind, Singing
* RNG - Archery, Marksmanship
* SAM - GKT
* NIN - Katana, Throwing, Ninjutsu
* DRG - Polearm
* SMN - Summoning
* BLU - Sword, Blue
* COR - N/A
* PUP - H2H, Automaton x3
* DNC - Dagger
* SCH - N/A
* GEO - Geomancy, Handbell
* RUN - GS, Parrying
italics indicates a tie. From this, it looks like you could avoid SCH, DNC, and COR without missing out on any skill caps.

I have a PLD+2 neck and I use it in precisely 1 set: cure midcast. It's required to cap DT while also giving decent enmity and no other piece does both of those, at least the way I built my set.
YMMV depending what you do with that set. I don't see a lot of other reasons to use it. I generally discourage anyone who asks me to make them one and tell them how extremely niche it is, at best.

Hiya, new member here. Figured I'd toss a random thought into the abyss for shits and giggles.
There are too many choices when it comes to personal care/beauty products and I'm overwhelmed, half this stuff probably doesn't have any effect (vitamins and supplements) or is just the same exact thing with few actual variations (shampoo and stuff) In my experience the more a personal care item costs the more different ingredients or expensive rarely seen ingredients it will contain. Whether these ingredients do anything for you is usually problematic at best.
No. All these items, cheap or costly, are not the same with minor differences. An easy example is hypoallergenic. Or sunscreens, many order European sunscreens shipped from Europe as they have far different formulations than American sunscreens.
TLDR: Due diligence and research are your friends. Get to know them.

I swear I've answered this multiple times in detail over the years, but apparently I didn't ever bookmark the post and I can't find it again now... <,< Anyway
The +2 neck is in a weird place. It's good, but has such stiff competition in the slot for related stats that it's often questionable if it's worth the cost to buy and further augment.
Moonlight has more Enmity+, while also having the highest SIRD, and meva+15 is nice too. Lacks DT/HP
Unmoving collar+1[R15] has vastly more HP(+200 vs Knight's +60), while having the same enmity+, and and very similar total def values. Lacks DT
Loricate+1[R15] has only 1% less DT, and nearly the same def. Also has 5% SIRD, which can matter sometimes. Lacks enmity+/HP
These leave PLD+2 neck in a position where it is only very slightly better at two things. Total def(2.5~7.5 def ahead of next best), and highest DT(1% ahead). I suppose Knights is also the best chivalry neck(MND+15), though that is incredibly niche, and is a good atk capped savage blade option.
I do have a PLD+2 neck, and I did fully augment it. But it gets used in... surprisingly few places. The need for enmity+/SIRD, or more HP often see it replaced. And... if you didn't have it, Loricate+1 is a fair alternative for raw DT and DEF, and is much, much, cheaper to augment.

Doing a few hrs of nyzul is way less painful that grinding out 70+M gil (or farming the alex yourself in salvage or w/e) I only have 1 mythic and I earned most of my points when nyzul was fresh and relevant content, but I've helped friends so not sure how many tokens I even have now. Doing it once in a while feels fun and nostalgic anyways. (def. not grinding it though)
Also seems way more fun than spamming the same fight over and over again for something that'll never drop.
Although I think I'm gonna do shinryu a few times over the next week or so, maybe I'll get lucky (yeah right....), then I'll adjust what I pick accordingly.
then again maybe I'll just get miasmic pants or 300 plutons >.>
