So... not sure if anybody else experienced this before but today I used a Case+1 inside Sortie. The case got used but I got nothing out of it.
Must have been a lost chat packet, I thought.
Another friend, altough he usually doesn't have the best of attention, claims in his chat log he saw me getting a "??? geo +1" earring.
But there's no trace of that earring.
Even after zoning, logging out, logging back in, still no earring wherever in my inventory or in any other repository.
I even doublechecked the Recycle Bin before exiting Sortie, but nothing was there either.

Maybe you'll have to trade stuff that drops from the bc!
My uncle works at final fantasy and told me you'd have to trade an R15 Guttler to Cactrot Rapido while lockstyled into full PUP empy to get a Uranus Orb.
It works just like Mars and Venus orbs except 9 of the chests are mimics, and the 10th one has a VR chance to drop the shield (assuming you open it on a full moon while facing south south east). You do need to be ML25+ to enter this special A.M.A.N. trove and if you die it resets that job to literally level 1 (if it's one of the core 6 jobs), or relocks it if it's any of the unlockable jobs.
Also your adventuring fellow dies forever if you even think about participating in this new piece of content.
Can confirm, I am 0/427 on this so far. When will SE fix the drop rate?

Don't forget about the ACP and the other mini-expansions. I'd love to have iLevel version of those fights--especially if they give new customizable iLevel versions of their rewards.

Did this get taken down? I've been away for a little while and thought I'd check it out, but the page said nothing was there. Was a really neat tool.

Nice little tool, thanks for putting this together! My only reservation is the site could potentially go down and you lose your checklists if not backed up locally, so I'd want to ensure this stays up long term. Is there a way to export the site data locally?

Not questioning the need for resistance building from a balance point of view, just saying the mitigation is not ideal, breaks immersion, and makes the experience frustrating.
I am all in favor of a system where you can't stun lock mobs while fighting them, but I want it to be symmetrical between Players and Enemies.
Hell, it could be as simple as: if an enfeeble gets resisted, some damage is taken instead. Have that scale well and you can reach a state where players have to consider that during the second half of the fight they might not be enfeebled as much but they'll be taking extra dmg, presenting healers and tanks some interesting decisions.

initially i beleive bind worked similar to the mobs variant but it was obviously taken advantage of so it was changed to what it is now, same for stuff like enfeeb resistance building not being around until later on for the same reason.
Mob gets to cheat because it doesnt have potentially up to 18 or more players worth of actions it can do at any given time. That said i did hope that they would go look back and bind/break and apply the veil formula to it where you could hit the mob x times before it broke based on users skill and maybe potency

Wouldn't surprise me if they MS does this on purpose. I would like to think that the big M had put the abuses of the DOS days behind them.
But then I remember the old meme that google's "Don't be evil" motto was a direct response to Bill's Microsoft.

Bind on a mob is removed when we look at it the wrong way. I'm genuinely amazed that bind on a mob is not removed by casting another non-damaging debuff on that mob.
because it sure as hell feels like it falls off to a stiff breeze

It's the constant churn of new players and players that got banned starting anew looking for nu-Asura to do it on.
See the constant reddit posts asking this very question. Previously the answer was Asura, then Bahamut, now Odin.

Time to drive back to Austin. Yesterday's fishing trip was pleasant, just caught 4 flounder and 7 sheepshead. I gave them all to the Captain. Still have over 2 pounds of spanish mackeral to cook when I get home. I'll be back here in two weeks if the shutdown is still going. Here is hoping.

Here's a humorous take that still keeps things light and respectful:
"Oh no, not the ultimate punishment—being blocked for crimes against originality! ? I promise I only used AI to sound smarter, not to take over the world… yet. But hey, if blocking me restores balance to the universe, I’ll take it like a robot—I mean, a champ. ?✌️"
Want it to be even sassier or more sarcastic? I can dial it up.

Quote: Generate a response to reply someone threatening to block you for using AI answer
Here's a calm, respectful, and tactful way to respond if someone threatens to block you for using an AI-generated answer:
"That's totally your choice, and I respect it. I used AI to help provide a clear and accurate response, not to mislead or offend. If you'd rather not engage with AI-assisted content, I understand. Wishing you all the best either way."
This type of response keeps the tone mature and non-confrontational, while still standing your ground. Let me know if you'd like a more casual, humorous, or assertive version.

We had our first non-mastery point RMT shout spam today on Ragnarok. Dude shouting for everything under the sun. Some curious folks got his prices: 80m or $40 per 40m Sortie run, 150m for a Gigelorum v25 clear.
I think he is going to go wanting for clients. Ragnarok doesn't exactly have a lot of deep pockets and we already have Ejin who mercs pretty much everything. Just amusing that this ***has fallen to Ragnarok already.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5585162/are-windows-10-security-updates-available-for-free
Quote: Are Windows 10 security updates available for free on devices in Europe?
Some blogs says that Microsoft has given exemption for Windows 10 Europe region machines and receive security updates for free ?
Quote: Hi,
The information you've encountered in blogs is not accurate. Microsoft has not announced a general exemption for all devices in Europe to receive free security updates for Windows 10 after its end-of-support date.
Here are the precise, official details:
The Official Policy: End of Support on October 14, 2025
The standard lifecycle policy remains in effect. Windows 10 version 22H2 will reach end-of-support on October 14, 2025. After this date, all consumer and commercial editions will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support.
The primary method to continue receiving security updates after this date is through the Extended Security Update (ESU) program, which is a paid annual subscription.
The confusion likely stems from a separate, unrelated announcement regarding the European Economic Area (EEA).
