Matter will be the cockblock for sure. I think 3-4 matter per week isn't accurate. It's more like 2-3. Even going with 3 on avg that's 10 weeks per one each piece to get 30 matter from temenos and 30 from apollyon.

If limbus starts bringing in gil, people (RMT) are going to start spamming it and feeding supply into the AH.
Those people don't do limbus atm, is no reason.

Upgraded my silver dragon to a big boy
i see my boy magnadramon, could you post a pic of him?!
Lol sometimes I try to edit them out but she was too big. I have two because I am deciding which i want in my main display, so I kept her there for now. I like this one but the face is really stylized.. and not how I remember her. The second one is less detailed but I feel the face is more accurate to the original, sadly it came with a broken tail so it cheapens it for me but its still nice after I repaired it.

Shards will 100% be the cockblock. Shards can be traded and many people won't be using all their shards because they find the process too arduous. They also drop in gobbiebox and I'm sure they'll end up in Trove eventually. You'll absolutely be able to buy shards at a reasonable price (if they remain expensive for any meaningful amount of time, chinese will farm them and undercut each other).

If rotating boxes you average 40% 5k chests over a large enough sample.
Basically you expect an even distribution between needing 1 2 3 or 4 chests to find the 5k so you just add uo the possibilities, you find 4 5ks in 10 chests on average.

5 shards and 2 matters per rank cannot possibly be correct. None of the armor pieces are good enough to warrant such a process / time commitment.

Ok...so it takes 5 shards of trust, 1 murky matter, and 1 alabaster matter to create the purification item "Jewel of Camaraderie." The HQ1 item has 30 levels of RP, and the first 2 levels are 750/1600 units, so looks similar to the accessories (12 weeks to max).
From what it looks like, the jewel is related to uncursing the armor.
So 5 shard + ala matter + murky matter -> Jewel of X
Shard of Hope (HM) -> Jewel of Rev.
Shard of Trust (EV) -> Jewel of Cam.
Shard of Bravery (TT) -> Jewel of Per.
Shard of Justice (MR) -> Jewel of Des.
Shard of Mercy (GK) -> Jewel of Aff.
Jewel of Rev. uncurses Apathy / Defeat / Ignorance set, which becomes Hope / Perfection / Revelation (WAR / BRD / NIN)
Jewel of Cam. uncurses Arrogance / Bravado / Irreverence, which becomes Trust / Prestige / Sworn (WHM / RDM / PLD / DRK / BLU / RUN)
Jewel of Per. uncurses Cowardice / Nothingness / Despair, which becomes Bravery / Intrepid / Indomitable (BLM / SMN / SCH / GEO)
Jewel of Des. uncurses Envy / Jealousy / Resentment, which becomes Justice / Magnificent / Duty (MNK / THF / BST / PUP / DNC)

You have done something I thought impossible. you have captured a lifetime in FFXI and wrapped it up in a single, amazing, perfect picture. For me, it does not get any better than this. Way to go Demhar, way to go man.

Yes. Also, first 3 levels of units/RP line up with the accessories. Was expecting HQ1 to have 25 RP levels, like the necks, but it has 30, which is nice for being able to level it up and transfer when needed. I would guess NQ would be the same too (30 levels of RP)?

My opinion
Empyrean
MUST: Head, feet, legs (PDL* but depends on WS and Nyame rank; doubles as a high accuracy piece).
NICE TO HAVE: Hands for RF
OPTIONAL: Body as a low haste piece.
Relic
MUST: Head for Waltz/Trance, Legs for jig and WSD
NICE TO HAVE: Body for NFR but it doesn't need to be ranked higher than +1 I think for the bonus
OPTIONAL: hands for Fan Dance, feet used to be good but Empyrean are more versatile even with the lower STP. Perhaps +5 bring it back to life
Artifact
MUST: Body for Waltz, hands +4 are BIS for most WS
NICE TO HAVE: Head for Samba duration, but doesn't need to be upgraded past +1. Also doubles as a step accuracy piece, but that's kind of a misnomer nowadays.
OPTIONAL: feet for jig or waltz, but neither are needed for either purpose and waltz sets are better off defensively not utilizing these Bismarck.Drakelth said: »What are the MUST have AF / RELIC / EMP pieces? Once KI1 does enough physical dmg he stop taking physical dmg. He only gains the cumulative resistance while aura is up. A group that was capable of proccing with dmg:1 weapons and other techniques to minimize resistance could theoretically do a third KI (or even an entire alternative strategy).
Nobody really wanted to try anything like that after a winning strat was found, though. Denounce doesn't make it all that appealing either.

He only builds the DT reduction in fetter mode though, right? So if KI1 hits 74% triggering first add before then(EZ) and then dies, he hasn't built any DT of either type at all (or likely some small% of physical).

Can confirm, you can use either zone's units for augments. So looks like shards/matters will be limiting factor.

Oh I agree, it just I lost count how many times people freaks out when you mention run a basic <insert your package manager> command.
I might just be biased from working with RHEL and using Linux desktops for more than a decade.

Decided to boot up the Ubuntu 24 laptop and see how I have it setup. Inside the Wine64 prefix windower.exe starts up, updates itself, then crash's itself. Running pol.exe from the same prefix starts up FFXI which updates and runs fine. Likely there is some sort of new dependency on the windower.exe side so I'll dig around until I can find whatever MS library it's calling.
