You definitively can get strong even being casual if you know what to do and how to do it efficiently.

yea its 2am here lol, I did read:
In addition to items that can be obtained from the existing anniversary dial, spoils from high-tier mission battlefields and high-tier avatar battlefields will also be included.
Also, for every ten treasure chests that you open, the chest will change to a rainbow color and boost your chances of getting high-tier mission battlefield and high-tier avatar battlefield spoils.
Existing Anniversary dial = using ANV Key I think, not sure, but I used 50 keys and no Rainbow color (They say after 10 opened boxes, it changes to rainbow.)

Does anyone have a better template to look at for those new gear sets? Looking at those one someone posted earlier is making my eyes bleed, lol.

Apologies if I'm misunderstanding, because it's 5AM ...but, are you saying the gobbie box can momentarily appear Rainbow? I've never seen this before!

I love this and I hope they backport it to divergence necks, but they never will because it's a really strong gil sink ;_;

On a side note...no Rainbow chests after 10 opened with ANV key..

I would assume sets like Arrogance must be the cursed version...that would only make sense.

So am I understanding this correctly?

• Various crafts produce the "cursed" version of these pieces, NQ/+1/+2 (do these have stats?).

  You purify them by trading race shards matching the set in the furnace(assume this is what gives them their base stats?).

  Race shards obtained from weekly chests are based on your characters race, in order to get other race shards you trade them to npc at a 2:1 conversion rate.

  You augment them by trading more corresponding shards + units + matter in the furnace.

  You can swap existing augments onto a brand new higher quality version of the same piece in the furnace.

I see Arrogance sets, did I miss them listing these other new sets? Goldsmith has the Arrogance sets.

Some guesses for the new area conditions:

4: Individual touches of ??? bonus

This set also has +atk though and far higher STR :)

Also look at those fast cast legs for PLD set :D

Its the pixies/unseelie where that is really going to be a big help, but in general that just makes much safer pulling, the mobs still agro so you can grab up a bunch if you want.

The augments better be amazing for SMN. Other than the favor+1, the pets got shafted as expected. Not a single piece other than the enmity on the head piece has any stat that is better than anything else we already had.

Why does SMN get crit rate +8% on body when we already had DA+15% and crit rate+20% meanwhile BST gets damage+8%?

Unless I'm miscounting weeks, the change to monthly happened with the October 8th update counting as the first week, and we've had 9 conquest resets since then.

So if the new NM's are killed on your server this week or next week, you should see new chest colors and potentially items after Conquest reset on 12/21.

The odd jobs on some of the sets is kind of intriguing to me even without seeing the augments. Also an actual melee accuracy set for COR that has PDL seems like it could easily be very nice if the augments add more PDL or a little bit of WSD.

The WAR/NIN/BRD set actually looks kinda fire for BRD TP set, too. And I wouldn't mind getting it for WAR either to see about crit rate set.

The only set that doesn't catch my eye at all is the BLM/SCH/SMN/GEO one, but I'm not super versed in those jobs. Just doesn't look like it does anything particularly stand-out to me.

Feels like a Trojan Horse for giving BRD and COR some desirable sets though (augments pending for COR).

I dont want to be doom and gloom... But i'm Not impressed at all with any of these +2 version sets... they're all like slightly better quality than Ambu+2 gear but much weaker than Odyssey tier gear.

They better have really potent augments? but as is, i'm guessing to get the +2 version will already be a grind and a half. I guess we'll wait and see. I hope this update isn't a huge dud but this isn't looking good
