Ok, glad to know that I am just having bad luck then.
I lazily did DM augments when I remembered for a long time and made a full set of +4/+5, then it went to daily and I thought "awesome! Time to grind out the last ones now that I know I can literally do it every day." Since then, only backwards.
I did get a Hades Earring +1 with a light resist augment recently, though.

I can already see this being overrun by RMT who will use this as their safe space to sell non-stop across all servers.
I figured this could be a problem, but if Gil or items weren’t allowed to be traded that should limit it? Or require like… a player to have 3 jobs 99 with one of them mastered. Or it could be like… a moderated chat heh.
The only thing that matters is server transfers make profit.
They will absolutely never do anything that lessens server transfer profits. That's the beginning and the end of it.
(except close servers apparently which I never ever expected)
((said they should, but never expected them to actually do it))

I got +5 on most sets before it became permanent. I guess this is where my luck went.

Gotten 2 or 3 Phalanx +5s since it became permanent. One of them being on literally the first augment after the change.

Confirmation bias, IMO.
I've seen one phalanx +5 and one +4, and not been very consistent with them.
Just luck of the draw I would think. It's an incredibly rare augment in the first place.

I have no data to back this up, but also feel the augment draws have gotten worse since they became permanent. I have been pulling for a month and have seen only one Phalanx +3, let alone 4 or 5.
I got one Phalanx +5 Herc piece in July two weeks after the update. Aside from that I have not seen anything over a single +3, across 5 characters. It definitely seems like S-E made the rates for the most desirable stats worse once. |

I believe this. It should be borderline illegal to do this in a video game (especially since SE's goal here is to extract a few extra months of $12.95 from players). God forbid, they add an extra augment, or increase an augment maximum by 1. In the real world, you have a carrot/stick metaphor. But with FFXI/SE, the carrot is mostly rotten by the time you get it, but the stick sometimes gets shorter. So, yay? |

Dang, I got some pretty good musics from a old radio show.
Those musicians used to grab some souls music and mix into house music.
There are pretty amazing songs made this way, but also extremelly hard to find them. Because they are not well known, because they are mixed together in a single show so there are no references, and the music itself is pretty hard for my non-native english ears to recognize the entire song.
But I really wanted to download this single that is on my mind
