I just wish they would add them as rewards to literally any content. I want basically all of the bonanza weapons because I love unique weird niche weapons, I'd be so motivated to collect them and make weird builds around them.

Make it so you talk to x npc and get it. That way new / returning players aren't really missing out, and the rest of us had the chance to use it earlier. Also as Varga said, its fair.

SMN always needs refresh.

Also if this is a set for when avatar isn't out, what's the benefit of stacking all that summoning skill?

My default on SMN is to fall back on refresh unless I need something else. Need DT? Ok use it. Need skill? Ok use it. Don't? REFREEESSSSHHHHHH

This is the set I use:
ItemSet 321263

Head & body are Path D.
Gloves/feet have Pet:Def, Pet:Regen, and Pet:DT-4%.
Cape has Pet:DT-5%.

Total is Pet: DT-32% so not quite capped but close, and still has +8~9 refresh with capped perpetuation (-7 on head, -8 on staff) so you aren't dead in the water MP-wise.

(Note that like GEO, SMN's Pet:DT caps at 37.5% as their pets have a native 50% DT.)

Important to keep in mind that Hoxne Ampulla only has a 1 minute cooldown and 5 seconds to re-use after equipping again. Still a pain, but I wouldn't consider it prohibitive.

I'd be more concerned with needing to frequently heal your pet. Though if that's the case, maybe some Dawn Mulsums are warranted to allow the use of Hoxne Ampulla.

Speaking of choice to find things comical:

It's a dumb argument regardless. It doesn't matter if you spend the first 6 months enjoying the "gimmick toy" or spend it later and enjoy it then, the hell difference does that make.

The addon currently has no code to deal with that minigame. So you would have to code it.

Any time the dude's on screen the Mithra ladies spend 100% of the time fighting over him!

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Strategic National Secret Catman Reserve under Heavens Tower to keep the dudes out of sight and deliberately not talked about to prevent all of Windurstian society immediately coming to a screeching halt.

I don't have Hoxne Ampulla yet, but if I ever get one from Trove and finish a Stage 4 prime, I'd look into using a set like this for stuff

Lilisette looks pretty typical for an Elvaan, maybe not quite as tall as you'd expect but I don't think she's a full adult yet so she could still be growing. So, maybe interbreeding doesn't create cross-breeds, you just get a full-blooded member of one of the involved races?

I mean, look at Windurst. They've only ever had the one catboy in stock there, and he's long gone, but just look at all those kittens walking around. So either a large chunk of the Mithra population is booking trips back to the motherland just to get knocked up and then head home, or there's some cross-pollination going on there and it results in something indistinguishable from authentic 100% Mithra offspring.

(Well, that or Windurst has a serious human trafficking problem that nobody talks about, which to be fair is something I'd totally believe of them.)

I've seen people talk about the Mothercrystals corresponding to the 5 races, but are there any in-game sources for this? In RotZ, Yve'noile states that the protocrystals were responsible for the races becoming what they are, and that the AAs also warped the same way the 5 races were, from their original appearance.

Mothercrystal geography isn't too favorable to the idea either. Why would the Mithra come from the northern Mothercrystal while they come from Olzhirya, the southern continent?

Doesnt the potential need to shuffle pets hinder hoxne quite a bit? If youre only using 1 pet its np. Granted i think war aint a great sub to begin with
