Honestly about time they adjusted the Ergon weapon grind, hopefully its a significant reduction in imprimatur timer.
Idris and Epeo 6month grind is just absurd at this point, given how key they are to their respective jobs.

So for those who attempt to low man these NMs be careful with your debuffs. Just got off a 3 hour long battle with the BLU in Apollyon and after a while it flat out resisted silence and eventually bind. I even wasted a stymie on a silence that wore instantly. BLU certainly lives up to its reputation for being the ultimate screw you humanoid nm job.

The goblin box gave me a, "Behemoth Sandwich" today.
Didn't realize the Green Festival food could be good! Looked into it, and am now sad that the foodstuffs recipes aren't available for Cooking crafters to make!
Clam Chowder looks pretty dang nice tbh!

It takes far too long to max out coalitions, and unless you're building Epeolatry and/or Idris, there's little incentive outside of a +1 ring and Ygnas trust.
Just my personal opinion, but Ygnas trust is well worth the effort, even if it means suffering through adoulin/mog gardens etc. He's by far the best trust in the game outside of Cornelia. I didn't used to have him but after i returned to the game since my last break, I decided to finally get everything done. The +1 ring was the icing on the cake (I chose Shneddick, so +1 has no improvement), but having Ygnas access makes everything I could possibly want to do so much easier. You will also always have a dedicated healer for Gaol solo RP runs and other stuff (Monberaux can't keep up healing AAEV with high Moogle Mastery), something you won't have if you rely on a UC healer. Also allows you to use Sylvie for DD jobs. Ygnas is really a amazing reward and I would encourage players to finish Adoulin, if not for Epeolatry or Idris, definitely for him (unless you multibox, then trusts don't matter).

Current method is direct drops from mobs. The other types of acquisition would be from an end chest, a direct drop to personal loot pool or a point system.
I would bet a point system?
The obvious solution to this is if you already own a piece (say Daybreak) and that piece drops over and over, it will drop a shard instead from now on. Then you can trade 5 shards for the piece you want from an npc in WoE or something.
I think aman live mentioned adding a Malignance Kupon as a drop from the fight. Quick, easy, and effective as long as the drop rate isn't stupid low.
Really wish SE would at least give us english transcripts of the aman live stuff after the fact.

"I had to grind Lilith 300 times to get my Malignance, you have to too!"
I know you're joking but there are people who think like this. It amuses me because what's the point of turning gatekeeping into a hazing ritual for new people? It boggles my mind. Then folks complain it's hard to find new people.
However, my favorite complaint of the day: It's too hard to find a tank! (But no one complains abot how power creep invalidates the tanks and emboldens meathead DDs!)
Anyway, I digress. When I was farming Malignance ~8 characters. I got 8 sets of 9/9 Maiden items from 1011 runs. The highest character was like 9/211 runs but one character was an astonishing 9/43 runs.
One character could only hold 75 merits while the others could hold 60 merits, so Every 4 runs, I bought in that 75 merit character and for some reason, they just got all of their 9 Malignance Maiden items in as ~43 runs.
I dunno, I'm less interested in easier loot and am more interested in new mechanics (that may or may not appear with AF/Relic +5). Let me Beastmaster apply a party-wide pet buff damn it!

Why can't I trade in earrings for a case
Or sapphire for a case
Or x case for case +1
I'd settle for a consolation system that rewards longtime sortie goers with the ability to trade 3-of-any-earring of a tier for one of the same tier.
i.e. 3x MNK+2 + SCH+2 + NIN+2 = +2 <anyjob> of your choice.
This would help players who get earrings for jobs they will never play, you can trade them in for something useful. It also gives a purpose for repeat earrings you can't do anything with besides feel bad and sell them or throw them away (mule them).
This system already has precedent with Empyrean Footwear exchange and Omen Card trades. Would be a harmless system for most players and would benefit people who have been running for years and still cannot get a +2 that they give a damn about.

I wanted to say they will use the Decanter system, but that seems unlikely since Malignance is marked with Rare tag, and Sinister Reign gear is Ex. There would need to be a system in place to make sure you get a drop of malignance that isn't one you already have, and i doubt they will put that much effort into it.
Maybe just an item that has a chance of dropping from Lilith HTBF that can be redeemed at a deeds NPC or Bonanza Moogle or something for a piece of gear of your choice.

(tie is possible, 0/1000 coruscanti/mura/ephem from vw is pretty troll too) I was over 0/3000 on Coruscanti!
But I bet the drop rate wasn't that bad in general, I'm probably the exception to the rule.

Ghost of Yotei reviews are coming out with high scores. The only thing I didn't like about Tsushima was the story. I didn't want to be a ninja I wanted to be a Samurai. This game you are a Ronin which is better than being a ninja I guess. Maybe the next game we will get to be a proper Samurai. Buying it regardless but still.

Who's sick of doing climbs already. I don't mind them, but it'd be more tolerable if a certain warp assistance didn't keep breaking for me. you too??
I had it happen a few times and I can never replicate it. All I know is it breaks completely until I zone. Things I've tried:
reload the addon
port up manually
unload addon and port up manually then reload addon So I was able to replicate it
Someone (not of my army) was porting up at the same time I was.
Couple things I noticed:
If I try to port up in this bad state, the addon wont detect I'm trying to port up. The first line was when I got bugged out. Lines 2 and 3 are me timing out and I then unloaded the addon. I reloaded the addon and tried again (line 4). Line 5 is timeout, line 6 is me doing //sw cancel. My retry is set to 6 times, so why it thinking theres no warp scheduled after one retry?
I'm able to fix the issue by zoning to Al'Taieu and back.

Actually recording subzones probably isn't even necessary; someone should confirm this to be sure, but all of Temenos and all of Apollyon are probably just two big zones with floors spread out through them. Search things so if nothing else. That would mean you could basically just record raw coordinates and then have the addon translate: If it's inside this range, it must be on West F1, and so on. You can figure out the floor by comparing the coordinates to the teleporter coordinates of each floor. The one it's closest to is the floor it's on. the teleporters don't move so they can be hard-coded: Code local floor = {
[37]={ -- Temenos
['Northern Tower - 1st Floor']={ 340.0, 71.62, 376.0},
['Northern Tower - 2nd Floor']={ 220.0, -82.38, 376.0},

They’ll troll and add Shinryu stuff to potpourri. To unlock it though means trading in all of the old Twilight stuff, then 100,000 potpourri for Crepuscular Ring/Ear/Ammo. 250k for weapons and 500k for armor pieces.

If you work for someone else, you do only for the job, for the money. If you want to have autonomy, you cant work as employee. If you have the money, go for it. If you need noney, just suck it and work.
It depends on how you define autonomy, and the job itself.
Thatbis the point in the end.
I personally dont think anyone in their early/mid twenties has enough experience to precisely define the terms of autonomy or work.
They feel like they will join a company, people gonna throw the red carpet, ask them for enlightment, and they will become the big dog architect/engineer in the company.
When in reality, you gonna join a team maintaining/developing some legacy code or with some technology you dont even know. You gonna have to manager outsource employees, participate in dailies/plannibg, have to justify bosses why the bug appeared, ehy it is taking so long for it to get fixed. You gonna need to spend weeks figuring the make up CICD they implemented, gonna need to work in a workstation you cant do ***, gonna have to work in uninsightful tasks like figuring how to use the right authetication, how to add tests and security to the code you arent even aware.
Many videos in internet arent shy to promote "new" technologies, but end up with the same old java/javascript, while everyone keeps badmouthing those, so you end up like that guy who did all those cool Rust, Golang courses, but need to develop to spring bot or fastapi.
Then you feel like you dont have autonomy, that you are wasting time with those "legacy" technologies.
I do agree and feel the same.
But I had enough bagagge to understand you work for the others so makes no sense starting a job but leaving soon after by the excuse of being frustrated, that it was not the right thing to you

Before anime cons and comic cons there were sci-fi cons.
And 40 - 50 years ago having a prize for most naked lady was fairly common. (Unwelcome visions of chubby teenagers in nothing but gauze and cellulite come to mind.)
And yes, there were actual females at sci-fi cons way back then although somewhat outnumbered.
Something hasnt changed though:
The absence of deodorant. It wouldn't mater so much if they bathed.
TLDR: This isn't new.

Does anybody know what this "changes to the method for acquiring the Malignance equipment in ★Maiden of the Dusk" in the update notes on the home page is all about?
Am I going to be rewarded finally for not doing more Lilith spam than I've already done? I've done well over 100 runs and I've only got 3/5. I refused to do more because I want to enjoy myself when I'm playing video games.

Go to a comiccon or sci-fi con some day.
Yeah bunch of average looking women with their *** hanging out in "cosplay", trying to get attention and a bunch of thirsty guys that only go there specifically to get some *** from hoes with their *** hanging out.
That's pretty much all those things are. I can't tell... are you saying that's a bad thing?

swapping out a piece or two of my Nyame for a different augment path
Keep in mind Nyame is also BiS for meva and DT. In some fights getting caught in dark matter augment WSD gear will get you one-shotted.
Absolutely. Though, I don't think swapping Nyame Legs or something for Merlinic Shalwar with WSD would drop your defense and magic evasion enough to get "one shotted". Both items are ilvl and though the Oseem gear has far less defensive traits, I don't believe swapping one or two pieces out for augmented WSD would get you particularly killed. Now I wouldn't do 5/5 Oseem gear, just talking about if I decided to change from Nyame legs B to something else for example, take a small hit to WSD and defense in one slot for a few jobs, but an improvement for others. But I also want to wait and see if SE puts out any other gear, so I don't have to resort back to Oseem DM augments for 8-10% WSD stuff, that got old a while ago.
