Its very slow almost any heavy lifting tcl script I've rewritten in another language (usually perl or python) speeds up by at least an order of magnitude. Its a glorified shell language (everything is a string!) Its actually kind of funny how many performant things I see with embedded tcl in them. (reasons: because it was the best thing in the '90s and no one wants to change).

Currently no, it's basically just doing a GET request to the server and displays (based on settings.api_limit - or whatever I called the variable) how much data is returned.

Don't load/unload on multiple characters at the same time. Race conditions with writing xml will wipe the file clean.

Side note - XML needs to die.

You do want string skill for horde lullaby 2, string skill affects radius if you're casting it with a harp.

For buffs skill does nothing.

There's an even easier way that stops him from doing any SPs what-so-ever, but I know people are going to want proof and quite frankly, waste your own pops on proving things idc that much XD

Wind damage prevents Benediction or Invincible once you proc it before bracelet mode. I'd recommend taking the first 5-10mins proccing the SPs without pushing to 60% and ensure either of those are white procced with Wind damage THEN push to bracelet mode.
Ice damage prevents Soul voice after the initial use (or use Wind damage to proc Call Wyvern before bracelet mode and Soul voice can never be used during Bracelet mode).

The first 5-10 mins of a WoC solo is playing it slow preventing SPs that can be used during Bracelet mode since that is where he is most dangerous with up to triple SP back to back. Then it's a chip away after.

This barely counts, less of an accomplishment and more of a lucky moment. First time I ever farmed a pulse weapon was with a LS friend who already had one and decided to help me with my first couple T3 NMs. I got a pulse weapon on my 3rd ever NM pop.

I made a Let's Play of FFXI that's technically still going, because I'm special(ed). :^)

It includes all major storylines, loads of quests, all AF quests (except RUN and GEO, but I could change that...), all WSNM quests, all of Abyssea, and is done at restricted levels such that everything isn't immediately destroyed. Sometimes I even refuse to use Trusts, just to have a little more satisfaction in a story fight or something silly like that.

As far as actual game things go, I was the first person or one of the first persons to get a Vermeil Bhuj when Abyssea first came out. Haven't had a week like that, since. Non-stop tells, "How did you get that Gaxe? Where did you get that Gaxe? Was it hard to get that Gaxe?" And the upsetti spaghetti vibe from my LS leaders who were hip deep in 2000 killshots needed to upgrade relic weapons to lower base damage than said Bhuj. Not a high that lasted long, but very memorable, for sure.

Nowadays I don't think there's anything I've gotten to first, or that someone else isn't already versed in better than me.

But I guess I can say I've gotten all of Borghertz's hands, and that mofo is still trapped in the toolbox.

I was first 100 NA CC on Siren. I did a bunch of fun RDM solos too but i was never as good as Avesta, nor did i ever record or stream anything.

I made a tarutaru back in 2002. I fought valiantly against the Onion outside the gate. I was down to red HP but he was also about to die! I used benediction! He used photosynthesis! I wiffed with my spoon. He regened back to full. I ran back into the town. Died at the gate.

I remake a Hume, Monk this time. No more spoon wielding white mage shorty. Fought valiantly against the ugly saplings. Then something hit me in the back! It was Leaping Lizzy! I hundred fists. The sapling was down but I still had that lizard on me. I died before hundred fists expired. Some evil Mithra took the NM. I was devastated. But a JP War/Whm raised me! I was happy. War/Whm was best!

I think this was so early back then when JP people was still nice and worked for free raising noobs.

Skill has nothing to do with song duration. Only Song Duration +% and "Specific Song Name Here" + gear.

me and my friend were/are... strange... pre sparks nerf we would farm reisenjima portal 2 every wednesday for gain exp. but for some reason we would prefer to fight for the camp instead of Teaming up... so every wednesday for 2-4 hours he would steal my mobs (i should note we were both blue, he was career i was more newbish gear wise) and i would try to mpk him. needless to say it was a fun 4 hours..


this isnt anything a Normal person would brag about... but it was honestly a fun time for the both of us, and we still made plenty of gil. even me who would die often as i would focus more on getting him instead of farming sparks.

tl;dr me and buddy would go to same camp for gain exp, refuse to team up and try to sabotage the other.

I'm having a great time playing it. Worth every penny. You can just fast forward if you think it's too slow.
