The seacom system is entirely player driven, and not what the request system does or uses.
The request system is under party in the vanilla client, and shows you lists of requesters/requestees.
The seacom system is basically if you're doing something, put a comment on stuff to be recruited for, or looking for. Looking for xp/items/crafters, etc. Or mission help. There are separate categories for what type of comment this is.
Still used in some cases today, mostly by JP. The soloing person that is open to limbus parties can put in seeking party type seacom and in the comment say 'Limbus Temenos' or something.

I still see the search comments used by the jp community on my server pretty heavily
Couldn't tell you what they are using them for without a little digging
Conversation came up with someone who was soloing temenos with trusts and was asking about how they could find a party while having trusts out.
When the request system was brought up
And having never used it I became curious.

There's a 'request' button under party and, if you are party lead, a 'view request' button which shows you people requesting party/parties requesting people.

I think you are confusing it for something else
Was the intention to show you are recruiting members for your party ?

Is there a link to a wiki somewhere that explains the party request feature no one uses?

I was talking about both the body and legs as replacements for Malignance. I just pointed to the legs specifically, because the Malignance legs have a lot of haste on them, and they're often important for capping. Obviously if you have Lehko's, you're good to go. I personally do not have that ring, and I prefer to use the Null Shawl and cap DW with my belt and earring (so no Sailfi), so I stick to Malignance Tights even when AM3 isn't active. The new Alabaster Earring might change that for me if I can get it to R30.
Also, I think everyone here knows this, but I just want to stress that despite the thread title this isn't specific to Caliburnus in any way. This is entirely about what is best to use when mythic AM3 isn't active on BLU. The advice on this thread is relevant whenever anyone is using Naegling, Maxentius, Caliburnus, SU5 sword, or even Tizona when AM3 isn't active. If the BLU guide only has a TP set listed assuming mythic AM3 is always active, that's kind of a huge oversight. There's a lot of content in this game where maintaining AM3 really isn't worth it. And IMO, going with a glass cannon build isn't really a good answer for any relevant endgame.

he's using Lehko's Ring, so haste is a complete non-consideration in the set. It's going to be capped.

I can't say I really care about the crappy late-night hosts
The last time their political jokes were funny was when Bill Clinton was president.

If enough complaints get made about the Attohwa miasmas maybe they'll get removed like the Foret blushes.

Probably something like CL125.
This is about right. I normally do i124.

Event doesn't do red, not even SE is that out of touch.
As for how the miasma works, basically: "screw you." Maybe there's a timetable, but I find the most reliable way to predict it is "if you want to get through, there will be miasma in the way." The counteragent helps but not every spot you get blocked on has a trade point to feed it to. I hope whoever came up with that particular design decision is spending their days making sure chocobo *** feathers are properly animated over on FFXIV now.

I skipped boxes entirely for Altepa the rotation was just to engaging and if I didn't get a tiger hide I just took one of my extras out of the dbox or kept on with the rotation
I didn't bother learning how the miasma worked for attowa and just kept on with boxes
experiment with 128-192 azure for future readers for time chests
The capped azure and red from event 255? Was cumbersome imo.

Oh, you mean lights-wise. I dunno, I don't find it too bad, if you go 255 amber you get a pretty good mix of gold and blue. What I learned last time I tried off campaign is that if you build amber but not blue, you still seem to get a bunch of blue chests, they're just garbage. That's why I recommend 192 azure on NM boxes; it's not going to let you have all gold boxes, may as well make the blue ones worthwhile.
(Also, Attohwa not being too bad to farm out normally, it can be worth doing on campaign just for the free instant access to time extension chests.)
Now, Altepa I would say is a total wash during the campaign. If your azure is fully capped, it's going to wash out lower level amber, and you just don't get the boxes you need.

The pathing for Glavoid I found best for me was:
Glavoid > worm > ladybug > #5 to #2 > eft > #2 to #4 > cockatrice > cockatrice nm > leopards > leopard nm > manticore > manticore nm > Glavoid
