Depends on the definition of casual i guess, plenty of people hop on for 1-3 hrs a day, or some days in a week, do some activity and hop off after to do something else. I'd consider that casual

The game is substantially more casual friendly. Quality of life updates like homepoints, other warps, and trusts have really made this game a lot less time consuming than it used to be.
