I was simply stating one of the more obvious reasons that things posted on the official forum get ignored... I'm not suggesting that there should be a community team.

There's like 1 post every week on the OF for FFXI, why in the world would they have a dedicated TEAM for the community of FFXI..? What would a full team of full-time workers do with their day if they were assigned to the English FFXI forums? Watch YouTube videos or read books?

I believe that there isn't a dedicated Community team for FFXI on the official forum.
Evidence is that the same "Community Rep" that made post in FFXI forum also post on FFXIV forum.

Meanwhile, over on the English side, we're two years into "Vana'bout should start at midnight instead of four hours earlier, and uncleared objectives should go away instead of blocking slots." And that's stuff that there's an official "post here to give us feedback about this" thread for.

Posting in English on the official forums is, essentially, just prayer. Maybe somebody's listening, but there's precious little evidence that that's the case. Sometimes something happens that looks like what you asked for, but it could just as easily be pure coincidence.

And those complaints came from the JP side.

Stage 4 Hard mode was forced, people complained in official forum and it got changed. yes hey read what people type over there and proven many times.

I'm confused about this bullet point about upgrading Afterglow Mythics via Job Points and S. Astral Detritus. I have an Afterglow Tizona and about to start Death Penalty.

• After I deposit 10,000 Job Points to Oboro for Tizona, and obtain "Balrahn armament" KI, do I have to deposit another 10,000 JP for Death Penalty?

• When I Afterglow the Death Penalty (via 10,000 Beitetsu), and start trading Oboro S. Astral Detritus to augment, does it augment both Tizona and Death Penalty?

• Should I complete and Afterglow Death Penalty before depositing JPs/S. Astral Detritus for Tizona?

Don't bother, we've collectively been telling Dane for a century that his "HQ" sets that contain unattainable gear are all but useless for any players, as they can't be used as a reference in any way since someone who is looking at a guide will have no idea what the 2nd best option is, and the experienced players just look at it and go "no ***sherlock". Other guides at least have the courtesy of putting them in a "dream set" category, but he stubborn.

The fact that expedition 33 was not created by square enix should make them feel ashamed. The fact that it was made by a studio of less than 40 people should make them really question wtf they are doing and why they're missing the mark so badly.

Friendly advice and you play how you want to play, but for the most part, everyone wants to play dps jobs, which is why a lot sit around and dont do content. Being open to tanking, healing, and/or buffing will take you a lot further than dd only. Good luck and wb!
