They should reverse it so destroying mirrors makes them attack more often.
That way all the incentives align!

Everybody. Sad news. Our protector, Chuck Norris, has left our plane of existence.
Might want to stock up on food and water, the only reason WW3 hasn't started yet has decided to relocate.
What a legend.
Wrong
The Grim Reaper came for Chuck, but Chuck beat the Grim Reaper. Chuck Norris is the new Grim Reaper.

To post more examples and data.
As I said yesterday I dedicated the full farming session to Blue Race Silks.
Got from 29 to 37 and the latest levels took me this many successful digs:
35>36 = ~64 digs
36>37 = 69 digs
Today I dedicated the entire session to Sky Blue Racing Silks.
As expected it took me half time (~50 mins) to reach the cap (200 Successful digs).
Total amount of digs: ~438
This is close to ~46% success rate.
Compared to my previous rate at lower levels that was ~36% for my previous cap of 100 digs.
Is this because I changed zone? (from East Saruta to Konschstat Highlands) Or because my skill is higher and this grants me a slightly higher chance to find items?
Anyway, these are the data of today's session:
37>38 = ~60
38>39 = 62 successful digs
39>40 = 61 successful digs
40>41 = 28+
Considering in my previous attempt I was already at 69 successful digs and considering it goes up with every level, I would say the "expected" number of successful digs to reach from 37 to 38 was ~70, instead I managed in 60.
Likewise for the following ranks.
The special message you get from Sky Blue Racing Silks seems to have a procrate around 40%? Maybe a bit higher. Lower than 50% at least for the sample of today's 200.
Of course I have zero clue on how to get to conclusions, up to you guys!
Tomorrow want me to go again with Sky Blue or regular Blue? Update from today's session. Went with Sky Blue Racing Silks again.
~415 total digs to reach the cap of 200 succesful ones (is it just a coincidence or I'm slowly reaching the 50% rate?)
40>41 = 68 successful digs
41>42 = 68
42>43 = 72
I still think the Blue Racing Silks provides a better increase in the long run. At least at my current level range.
Each levelup requires more succesful digs, but the difference doesn't seem to be huge atm. ~15 less?
Considering Blue bumps my total daily caps from 200 to 400... it's still in favor of that body over Sky Blue.
I think I prefer Sky Blue though for a simple reason: I can be done in 45 mins.
With the Blue it would require me 1h and 30mins, given my current ratio between total digs and succesful ones.
For someone who has close to 90% succesful digs then I'd go for the Blue Racing Silks for sure.

Yo! This could potentially interest me as my group has recently just exploded.
Our leader has abandoned us for greener pastures and higher mountain tops. The fallout has been catastrophic, and in times of such distress, one can only help to ask: Why?
Your post comes at a time of such need. I prayed and prayed to Altana for answers and she delivers in the form of a new group with a new leader - Mrmme AKA MisterMademoiselle AKA The French Tickler.
I can fill many spots in a 9-boss group, and I hope you give me the chance to pledge my undying allegiance to you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Also, by chance, will we have baguettes at the first teem meeting? Asking for a friend.

Someone please remind me whether I need to wake up at 1am PST to squeeze in the first day of VB before jp midnight at 8am PST or whether the objectives now carry over and queue up so I'd be able to knock the first day and then immediately do the second day if I opt to sleep in like a normal person.

Not like there has been video game piracy since the invention of video games or anything. You might wish to search the history of Monopoly and reframe that statement.

There's been a decent amount of talking about Besieged over on the JP OF as of late. Discussion about difficulty, point values, the final update etc. In particular, some folks have griped about the difficulty of earning points on non-melee jobs, especially if they are in ambuscade gear. As result of this, I learned something I hadn't heard before.
I knew that the archaic mirrors in the beastmen strongholds were related to how fast they can prepare for a besieged, but I honestly had no idea that the large reduction in magic damage besieged mobs take was directly connected to the archaic mirrors. Apparently if you actually destroy them all, they take full magic damage.
Slightly more wood on my "make Gufurfur invincible" bonfire.

Picked up Crimson Desert. A co-worker has been geeking out over this, I guess he likes the developer's previous games. It looks cool and will be my latest excuse to not finish Nyzul to get my Burtgang.
Crimson Desert on Steam
YouTube Video Placeholder Looks like I'll be grinding out Nyzul this weekend... I refunded this thing. I played for 57mins, 20mins of that was trying to screw with graphic settings to get it to look right. All of the presets were junk. Ended up on high, no RTX, HDR, no motion blur, and no depth of field... only then could I actually tell what was happening. This is with a 3090. Couldn't do better than 60fps, even on low I only managed 90fps. Ultra everything was like 30-40fps.
The controls are what did it. They are absolutely horrendous. If this is supposed to be some kind of open world breath of the wild type of game, they couldn't have made worse controls.
This could be one of those "oh it opens up after like 15 hours" kind of games, but those kind of reviews are from copium addicts.

At the same time though, who knows? I mean, are we 100% sure that it's Perceptivity that raises the chance of a dig to be succesful? Or that it allows additional items past the first one? Or both things? RCP has a direct correlation with dig accuracy. Your current 35% dig accuracy is the same as when I equip Denim +1 pants, without them on I am at 85%+ with 224 RCP + TH Birds.
3 items on a single dig should only be possible with a Bore and Burrow chocobo and 4 items on the same dig in theory should be possible with the same chocobo and an egg helm equipped. Does anyone have a screenshot of that?
I love your enthusiasm for chocobo digging because I've been playing game for 20 years and never tried it until about 1 month ago. In fact, my only experience was seeing a handful of JP chocobo diggers in 75-era digging in the jungle outside Kazham.
Have you noticed any interesting or noteworthy items from the extra item slots? In my case, I got 2 philospher stones in ~1000 digs, but nothing really noteworthy. I'm not really expecting anything but it's interesting to do and learn about. (Oh, the things I do for Rank 9/10 Hoxne earring bonus... )

But I do remember seeing another documentary about Bruce, one more cinematic. This other documentary even had a mental fight between Bruce and some warrior that represented death, just to symbolize his demise.

Intensive Training (75 chocobucks) and Special Training (80 chocobucks) are only usable on chocobos currently being raised in the stables. If you want to alter stats on a chocobo that has already retired, you need to purchase a retired token found in the purchase items menu in the 100-chocobuck category. This category is only available if you are aligned to the racing team in first place of your server.
Intensive Training is a waste as it saves you 5 bucks but increases a random stat, pretty much useless.
Special Training (80 bucks) and Race tokens (found in the 90-chocobuck purchase items menu) give + 5 to the chosen stat for each use. There is a weird nuance that occurs once past a certain stat threshold where a single use of a race token or special training will either be +4 or +6 to the chosen stat.
Retired tokens (100 chocobucks) give +2 to the chosen stat. Only great for micro adjusting stats at the very end of the raising process. Trying to correct a poorly planned chocobo already retired is not really feasible.
Raising a stat a whole tier cost 512 – 576 bucks during the raising process and 1,600 if retired.
Dye is lost whenever you register your bird to snapshot updated stats.
