I've previously seen the flotsam sparkle appear when flotsam wasn't ready, probably some kind of bug - haven't seen that today or since update, but it happens occasionally.

There's something you can plant in the furrow that matures into an earth elemental when ready for harvest - I don't remember what it is. Try harvesting it.

Only seen that on 1/51 characters but if you
1. Go in
2. Grab the mog item
3. Log out in the garden
4. Log back in

The shiny object will be there but not targetable. Saw this on several chars.

Is mog garden F'd with this update? Seeing weird stuff like an Earth Elemental above the Furrow and then the shiny object but not clickable etc. Just strange stuff.

I can only speak to doing the AE solo route on RDM. But for dealing with the botulus, I summon two tank trusts, AAEV and Valaineral. I pull with bio iii and then drop sabo frazzle iii, addle ii, silence, distract iii, and para ii, slow ii, and blind ii, even though those three probably aren't all that important at helping the trusts keep hate. I park myself behind it and use crocea to sanguine blade it to death. Each sanguine at 1k tp does 5% of its health so it dies rather fast. While hate can bounce a little between the two trusts, at no point do I pull hate.

I've never failed to get the chest this way either. The jp wiki claims the condition is just doing 50% or more of its hp from behind, for what it's worth. As for slimy proposal, between tping in malignance and sabo addle ii,(no actual light resist or charm resist gear) it has never once landed on me. Of course, the floor is never 0%, so presumably it'll get lucky and get me one day.

I suspect the move isn't all that accurate to begin with, since despite the presumed level difference between them, lamia in besieged have a much easier time charming me through malignance and sabo addle ii.

It's only 6-10hrs a week depending how good your efficiency is in party/solo, not that different than daily sortie, not that farfetched

So do you get any units from bonus chests if you've already earned your 50k weekly (assuming you have no carry over) or are they subject to the 50k weekly cap?

You can get like 1 free chest from wave 1 NMs alone. 1.5 from wave 2 and probably 2 from Omega and Ultima.

How do DoT's work on the NM's? is credit given to the pt/ally who puts the DoT on it or is that damage lost to the void?

Yes, we were able to spawn both Ultima and Omega so all the NMs were dead prior to today update. Tier 1 and 2 were also killed within 5hours of the update going live, Omega remains at 30% HP and it sounds like Ultima is still at 98%, so would seem we lost steam after the first tiers lol

I mean you kinda answered your own question. IDK, some addon shows you when you HQ1, 2, or 3, I've seen it in other people's screenshots, but obviously I don't use *whatever it is*.

My observations have been 50% dmg of any source from behind. However, I question if while it's casting and hate shifts if that causes a disconnect between the target he's currently targeting and what is "his back". Me (SAM) would open with a 2-3 step shooting for about 60-70% hp remaining. Then we had the Seraph Blade RDM and Leaden COR blowing it up form the rear. Based on my enmity generation or lack thereof if I didn't pressure it enough sometimes the COR would rip hate near the end. There have been times where I know I never did more than 50% even considering Masa AM3 melee time where I turn and I think the casting plays a roll in that enmity shift.

Or I just failed. It's not the easiest thing to track with 3 DD on it.

My only problem here is that they added something new to Limbus that most people on Bahamut can't really do anything with until next month. The CN NMs are w/e to me as I already knew as soon as the update was finished that would get mostly plowed through before I really had that chance to participate in it. SE should have just paused the roaming NMs as well. It was kind of dumb not to.

I believe the fomor's have around 7 mil HP, but I'd have to double check it. This might also vary by job (ie: MNK would have more)

This is enough to make me care enough to do them so I'm not complaining too much. Just weighing it against the EXP loss which makes it a bit harsh.

Wow. Well I did ask for them to add any reward at all to these NMs. I guess this does count as a reward.

Hopefully they tweak this a bit. I'm fine with needing multiple NMs for a chest, but if it takes 10+ for 1 chest that seems too harsh.
