Vere is better for Ngai. STR/Att and AM3.

Some run the sim on Prime s4/5 vs Vere/GH for science.

I did many times. It really depends on the buffs. Aria or not, highly over capped attack or just slightly, footwork/impetus, warcry from WAR, DT on the mob etc.

Id argue at least some or most of your group need to be in that +5% to clear v25 content

This probably goes doubly so for doing it without doing a double ki

And if we are talking about nonstandard h2h
Sakpata fists but for that much work yeah gh or su5

In order to play more jobs, need more gear that can be used across jobs. Seems obvious enough.

Odyssey and Sortie already push for a lot more job variation.

Also how long the fight is.
GH in sortie are fantastic because everything in your kit is available especially Footwork

In this scenario Vere is going to have a very hard time competing unless you are just using vs but TK is going to outshine that.

Personal experience with v25 ngai
I tried both on multiple attempts but
Vere felt to be the best choice due to the duration of the fight the damage difference per ws was not to significant when impetus was down and the white damage made up for the loss
By SimonSes on 2025-09-15 09:14:50
Which weapon is better highly depends on what WS you want to use and what outside and native buffs you have. Veret is only good with Impetus and using vsmite for example. Godhands are for sure the most versatile and the most useful.
By Vargasfinio on 2025-09-15 09:09:29
Varga Purnikawa definitely benefits from a retrofit for your TP set leaning more into critical hits, and I agree with Maru Kala simply being "ok" as a WS.

I will note that you definitely need it at stage 4 / 5 before outpacing other options, though. At stage 3 I wasn't impressed and Godhands beat them clean.

Has anyone done the math on something like savage blade to see how much of a gap there actually is?

Grab my pawn Alfania.

You are not alone,

Did you say you spent 3hr on learning sketchbook app by watching a tutorial and 10 months to learn UX pages ago? Have you noticed that those time investment can be drastically reduced with optimized learning methods? Maybe use your mental energy on yourself instead of the others doggy.

My time investment could be drastically reduced if I wasnt that much focused on my Palworld playthrough recording. My mind was and still is too much focused on it.

Good thing is that I think Ive finally set my path till the end. Hopefully this long term project will come to an end by the next week.

That said, I do have some problems to learn. There is this trendy thing of ADHD that I think it also affects me. When Im focused, things go down fast. But in a matter of seconds, my mind becomes blocked to the subject being studied, only being unlocked after a nap. Also my vision got pretty worse this last couple of years, so it all sums up why Im learn so slow.

I think you should worry about yourself FIRST.

But real friends cant do that. We need to worry about our buddies FIRST.

The two best items come from the same zone and a Temenos full clear takes 30-50% longer that Apollyon.

They should also make the first chest in each zone be 100% each week. Chest 2-5 being part of the % system.

I am so glad the new WSD cape isn’t content destroyer. It’s fine for saving content, but the ambu cape still have their edge (sorry behemoth, you finally lost your battle, so is Zerrooo on Phoenix for his overpriced Shank).

I’m am generally concerned more about the 14 road of equipment they are taking, where 1 piece cover everything, every jobs, everything that comes up to mind, and we are slowly loosing the subtlety of multi layers gear, gear swapping, precast, midcast, post, working on niche sets … one day it will turn into a “good stats + 50, bad stats -50, all jobs” if they stick to this path.

Think the issue with the WS cape isnt that its maybe a shade under ambu capes... its the amount of effort you'd need to expend to get something that's a shade under what you already have

This is perfectly valid. I can agree with that. For a 3 to 6 month project I want to work towards an upgrade rather than a space saver. Guess that's why we're all really in agreement on the earring.

Honestly the base cape itself IS a space saver. As a very low effort WSD cape you can throw on jobs you may need to bring to a random Super charge party or you want to start CPing a job but you don't have a spare cape from ambu, you will be fine with this. Solid A tier item. Kind of reminds me of Duban, at stage 2, so little effort, it's S tier.

Now letter grade starts going down when you add in a several months grind and the fact the other item is better.

Pretty sure Verethragna out-dds Godhands in total dmg. Mnk's white damage is a larger percentage of its overall damage compared to other jobs.

Was under the impression they were very close and vere surges ahead under impetus but the fw/non-impetus phase favored GH more overall. Cant go wrong with either one in any case
By Jakey on 2025-09-15 08:02:47
So rank 30 takes 1 matter to make the item then 30 matters to upgrade along with presumably an insane amount of points?

We can get at most 5 of each kind of matter a week but if drop rate is near 50% as has been suggested then we expact it will take aprox 12 weeks or 3 months before people are completing

I mean if you play Mnk like you're driving a 1984 stick shift Toyota Impreza with an aftermarket turbo, double clutching every gear shift like a maniac, then yes swapping weapons depending on Impetus up/down is a.. thing.. you could do.

Since RP to next level (1) is 1600) anyone has table of how new RP work?
How much 1 matter RP up a piece? and given drop rate from chest is not 100% + 5 chest per week .. OMG how long to do this??
Since we have to climb for the chest the temenos / apo unit will be overflow and utter usless? since we have limited amount of +3 to upgrade to +4 ...

I honestly think Intern-Kun in SE forgot MATH and build new system without realize it make many thing so pointless

So I did read it right.
To augment you need a Murky/Alabaster matter.
The first one is used to "craft" the item, following ones are used to "augment".

So I guess this means it's better to farm a lot of points and trade the matter for aug only when you have lotsa of them, or am I wrong?
By Lili on 2025-09-15 06:25:36
It's unthinkable that units would not going to be shared eventually, I know multiple people who have already capped all their armor, and they need to keep the currency valid for longer - either through consumables, or other achievables. If it were only for armors, we'd complain about not having anything to use it on!

Now, is the current one the best way to do it? Probably not, but ranking up the items is gated by matter which, apparently, has a very sucky drop rate, so it's likely we'll have a surplus of units anyway and this won't necessarily be a big issue.
