You enter a subregion. The person/computer giving orders (ADAM) tells Samus that he has upgrade data ready in the nearest data room. You proceed to the data room, which usually requires some exploration and killing a boss. ADAM tells samus he is uploading the upgrade or whatever when you get there. Then, you have a new thing.
There are a few that directly drop from bosses, but many come from data rooms in that manner.
I liked fusion quite a bit, but I preferred the 2d platformers anyway. Controls were very similar to Super Metroid, though it had less sequence breaks available.

In Fusion, Adam was responsible for her weapon upgrades. I think it was meant to be more like firmware than hardware, but idk. Bad writing. I guess you could argue that Adam was a software upload of her commander's personality, so it's kinda iffy.
Don't see that it matters; she's a bounty hunter, not an engineer. I didnt play fusion (I didnt have a GBA, never emulated it either), but do you list the wrong game? I scanned through a quick playthrough of fusion and it looks like Samus gets her weapons from killing bosses. Atleast the Wave beam and Plasma beam are added on boss kill. But it also says "recovered", so maybe theres something I missed.

Two things that are bothering me a lot in terms of internet.
1. Somehow I can login on my Outlook web via Safari. Im not sure what is it, but it is not accepting login via password. It demands other authentication methods or other device.
Microsoft is constantly asking my biometrics. *** dont want to leave any data behind.
2. AI support for searches breaking, and breaking the entire search.
If you cant process AI, you dont need to make impossible to “old school” search There is one thing that will cure most of this. Linux.

Yeah, I meant more "I never use Repair myself [and hardly even use the Smock]", the only time I get any mileage out of it is telling someone else, ok, sit here and hit this button, you're totally helping.

I just made https://www.ffxiah.com/item/11332/weavers-smock instead of putting points in Repair (like all others chiming in)
(the special action is "consumes 10 light fewell to repair furnace" at a higher potency than normal repair)
The true value of the repair button imo is that whoever you're doing the Fotia for can spam pressure -> lever -> repair constantly and not have to think. I myself almost never actually hit that button.
I've had a Weaver's Smock for years (decades?) and though I've tried using it a few times, it seems to me that it repairs about as much HP as you lose while using the "cooldown" time on using it.
I've made dozens of Fotia, Hachirin, etc. and never have anyone doing any pressure, lever, or repair. I do 100% of the synergy actions solo and it's fine.
You may already be aware of this (I presume so?) but having levels in those actions for yourself doesn't do anything for your party members. If they take those actions it uses THEIR levels, not yours. So having levels in Repair so someone else can spam repair...doesn't make sense.

Taking the time to make a robust web interface and DAT editing tools before launching is smart. I still stand by my earlier comments that there's not indication of substantial progress and I can't imagine anyone is too excited reading it. But, maybe in a year or two they'll hit their stride.

I meant safety lever not pressure valve. I did feed, safety lever and the rest in repair. Repair helps a lot with the many element recipes like the fotias, otherwise it does not get used.
|
|
 |
|
The fotia recipes are tough even at 80 and you need both some points in repair and points in pressure valve to be able to do it in time.
Meaning you need to be over cap to get the lower rate of increase, which is at 80.
FWIW, I have points in repair (I think?) but I literally never repair, and wish I didn't have them (if I have them). Repairing is awful.
If I had my choice, I'd take pressure valve, feeding, and safety lever.

I don't have a clear answer there; I've always just burned it straight to cap. The minigame itself shouldn't be too problematic as long as you can safety lever often enough and don't run out of fewell for the lever (biggest difference with level is how quickly explosions build). Is the synergy just failing due to lack of skill?

Why does there seem to be some kind of animosity between official server players and private server players? I played on Horizon a back when it launched, and while I enjoyed myself it made me realize that I simply didn't have the time to really dive in like I did as a kid. Which is why the official servers are more tailored for someone like me.
I understand the appeal of both. What I don't understand is this weird rivalry. Very good chance the Venn diagrams for Public server and Private servers overlap very little, so one doesn't really affect the other, no?
Self-centered people worry about one thing. Their brains are unable to comprehend the distinction between two different concepts.

The project has only been running a few months and you already had to do a "staff refresh" because of inactive people?
Dead project is dead.

Feeding Aminon more TP is actually what you want to do, just in a controlled fashion. It's not strictly a TP "denial" strategy in the same way Mboze is fought. You don't want him getting TP to use against you, but you do want him getting enough TP so you can absorb it and bump up your WS frequency. It's like an organized game of chicken where the more you feed him the more you can steal; greatest risk for reward. Playing it safe is slow mode, but the better you get at it the faster you can push it

Can anyone help me with a code that will auto change my engaged gear sets from single wield to dual wield and vice versa? The lua will change the gear sets but only if I disengage, reload gearswap and reengage. So if I’am dual wielding and mid fight want to equip a shield it make’s the appropriate gear changes. It’s for my Bst lua.

Hello everyone.
Development of the ZenithXI server has continued making progress. I'm glad to present everyone with a quick second update on the server.
I’d like to begin by highlighting the work of our head Community Representative. They released the second episode of our community podcast yesterday and I want to acknowledge their dedicated support of our burgeoning community.
To maintain this level of dedication across the project, we've completed a refresh of our staff. This process involved cycling out inactive members to make room for new talent. We are looking for developers, testers and passionate contributors to help build Zenith. If you're interested, please submit a staff ticket in our Discord.
Last month the team shared a brief roadmap update through Reddit and Discord. Since then, we have been onboarding staff to the test server and reaching development milestones. This includes significant progress on our core tools. The website's player and GM interface is now in beta and the launcher has completed its alpha version.
A new tool for managing .dat files is now complete. It handles their search, extraction, modification and re-encoding. A special thanks to the Windower team, whose public repository was helpful in understanding the dats and how to extract them.
The team's current priority is working through the beta checklist. It will take some time yet but when we are ready for the next step, we will put out a call for beta testers. I'm excited for what lies ahead and look forward to sharing it with the community.

Isn't the reason they don't use Dagda stem more from a TP feed concern? With Nyame it has potential to Datk on both hits, meaning 4-hit WS in a TP Denial fight. Might just be bad for business? (or as Sterk pointed out in the linked above, substantially higher acc requirements for multi-hit?) As counter intuitive as it is... mobs don't get additional TP for extra hits on WS. <,<; Note, they do still get TP for the offhand hit from DW, or the second hit from H2H, but like, Stardiver as a 4 hit WS is still only gonna give one hit worth of TP to a mob. And if you get DA procs, no change. Today I learned :O
