First off, fantastic addon, all the hard work is very much appreciated.
Second, is there a way to disable just the Bar of the self action bar, to where the WS/SC/etc text and damage values would still display, but the bar itself is hidden? There is now!
...Or at least in the next update.

Idk Sakpata r0 and nyame R15 seems sufficient for almost all helms, but on the other hand I haven't done this in ages.
I was saying most people do not have even that.

I figured food was the main thing to change, though it isn't really relevant for me anymore.

Looks look a pretty solid reference / guide. Pretty accurate. Of course some are very debatable, like SMN on helms. Overall though, very strong and I'd definitely refer new players to it.
One thing I believe is that RDM in segs should be higher. I mean I agree in reality in may be "Rarely used" but that's only because of misconception many people have. Reality is with a proper group it can replace the healer position and contribute 5-7 million damage as well, becoming the party MVP.
Also, maybe worth adding a note on something like BST for ody - its only used in 2 fights, but for 1 of those it's considered almost essential. Maybe worth noting how critical it is in the one fight. (same with dnc, and maybe others).

I think BLU is a phenomenal job for Geas Fete. But it's such dated content that the job hardly matters. From a solo perspective, I'd say it's commonly used but that's just my personal opinion because I play the job. If people aren't playing the job generally speaking, obviously it will be rarely or hardly used in content

Meant to specify CG. AE is fine with just threnody for me, but CG my damage is pretty terrible unless I'm getting both Frazzle and Threnody.

I use kagero on AE and CG. I go around 2k effective and we only threnody the basements bosses, you shouldn't need frazle on E as its not worth the stymie. I averages around 80-90k on the basement bosses with the hyrbid ws, you'll get the occasional resist or wiff no matter what.
It is probably better to do jinpu A and E, we've been burned with the odd pickup or swap on dd with junpu making reverbation with forenia or some other ws and just simplifed it to kagero for both. It's easier on brd pickups aswell.

I get what you're saying Nariont, but I think we're talking about slightly different aspects.
Mordant Rime
FTP is fixed at 5.0, raising TP increases the potency of the Gravity.
Blade: Kamu
FTP is fixed, raising TP increases the duration of the acc-
Death Blossom
FTP is fixed, raising TP increases... it's unclear, the "chance" for the Meva- to stick, so I suppose its inherent macc?
Pyrrhic Kleos
Fixed FTP, TP increases the duration of the shitty effect. But this is probably not a good example though
I could keep the list going on. Pyrrhic not a good example as I said because with the right conditions and Terpsi MH it's a decent option.
Mordant Rime is not THAT bad, but the gap with Naegling's Savage Blade is way too big, and it's a shame. Used to be a nice WS, it could probably be solved if they changed the TP effect.
Kamu always sucked, plain & simple.
And so on, the same applies to many Merit WSs as well.
Now I don't care if they don't want to adjust all those level 50 or lower WS, who cares.
But at least the ones who are bound to Merits or RMEAs, they should be "fixed" and being, if not awesome, at least DECENT alternatives. Which means they're inferior to the meta WS but the gap is not insanely big.
Some of these effects made sense in the level 75 era when they were created, they just don't make sense now and changing the WS to a Damage scales with TP would solve the issue for most of them, I feel.

I kind of liked the era of coordinated SCs, especially when Aeonics were the hotness with Umbra/Radiance. Everything capping damage made that niche for Aeonics basically dead in the water. Even on something like Gartell or other Sortie bosses, I enjoy seeing double Darkness 99k and 2 99k Rudra's, or a 4-step Light on AECG that just obliterates the mob.

I agree that WSD spam is absolutely another big problem.
You know what I'd actually like to see? An intentional return to that glorious glitch they allowed to remain for a while, where WSD was applying to every hit of every WS.
Maletaru is correct that the meta would just eventually settle on different WS, but I think it would be fun to shake things up. I guess I just root for a little chaos.

From my experience you need both Threnody and Frazzle to put out reliably high numbers, though I don't use macc food.

1) Was messing around last night on BLU and called Matsui-P for my final trust slot, and was pleasantly surprised for him to open Darkness for my Expiacion to close (and of course then tack on some MBs). For Tizona users, it's actually pretty great, allowing you to use Expi only if you wish, but still get strong SCs without having to compromise on your WS damage. It was pretty great, actually - I'm prob gonna seriously consider tweaks to my typical BLU trust setups. BLU also has the luxury of not needing to rely much on trusts to cap haste, or use our own cures, etc - so gets more wiggle room than many jobs.
2) I didn't recall reading much about Matsui-P working well with Expi, so I wanted to see if others had mentioned it and did a quick check by typing "matsui-p expiacion" into Google. Didn't get hits of people mentioning this point, but I did get one of the worst AI summaries I've seen recently! Sharing for everyone to enjoy:
Quote: AI Overview
You're likely referring to Akihiko Matsui, a Japanese video game developer known as Matsui-P in the Final Fantasy XI community, and his connection to the concept of expiación (expiation in English) within the game. Akihiko Matsui's FFXIclopedia page says he is a Japanese video game developer and battle designer working for Square Enix. He's specifically known for designing battles and creating content within Final Fantasy XI, where he is sometimes referred to by his nickname.
Here's how these concepts come together:
Matsui-P (Akihiko Matsui): He is a video game developer at Square Enix and a key figure in the Final Fantasy XI community. He has been involved in creating different aspects of the game, including the "Volume 2 Ambuscades" released during his time there.
"Expiación" as a game mechanic: Within the context of Final Fantasy XI, "expiación" refers to a specific type of Trust: Matsui-P that was available for a limited time within the game. This Trust was designed to perform specific actions and strategies in combat, often focusing on skillchains and magic bursts, this review video says according to a YouTube review. The concept of "expiación" suggests a specific combat strategy or effect within the game, particularly related to the use of the Matsui-P Trust.
In essence, "Matsui-P expiación" refers to the strategies and capabilities of the Matsui-P Trust in Final Fantasy XI, which allows players to utilize its unique abilities, like skill chaining and magic bursting, a Reddit thread says according to a Reddit thread discussing its use.

My laptop is working without crashes again after getting the motherboard replaced. It has a 13th generation Intel Core i9. If the problem ever comes back, I'll try the fix that alamihgo described.

I have several jobs that can cleave, mostly I use Aeolian Edge.
Pld, Cor, Thf, Dnc, Brd, I can AE cleave on any of those in abyssea.
I also have a war and can traditional cleave.
I mostly prefer pld, but I don't find much difference between jobs as long as they have 18% movespeed gear
Cor is nice for the initial getting around and building amber phase though.

AE Jinpu
CG Kagero
Should hit lots of 80k-99k just don't wall yourself if you can help it. Need Threnody for high numbers esp in the basement.

Thanks for the replies, its the first time I’ve seen it mentioned and most videos I’ve watched of melee strats is physical WS, I will have a play tonight and see how Kagero performs on some of the bosses.

I've seen shouts for summoner even on Asura. You won't believe how many hours people will shout for just to burn one HELM in thirty seconds, when they could clear all of them in an hour with a standard party. Just laziness

Upstairs most hybrids will work well without threnody
A jinpu is great
C Kagero koki works pretty great
I'd be curious to see if anyone has done any indepth testing

Aecg. Koki kagero work well with a threnody.

Does anyone have experience or information on how well the hybrid and elemental WS works on sortie bosses? Seen a comment on YouTube video suggesting that “Using Tachi: Mumei is pointless when Tachi: Kagero does 99k with a simple fire threnody” is there any truth to this??

BRD- I feel like outside of Honor March and Aria BRD hasn't been buffed. Both locked behind an ultimate weapon. COR and GEO (Idris dependant) give way better attack buffs.
Bard has been given some phenomenal gear options for melee in recent years to allow it to participate in battle more. Honor March is a huge bonus, and it was given Moonbow Whistle to boost it's potency even more. I don't agree that COR has better attack buffs than BRD either, it's only one roll and completely dependent on the dice number you roll. GEO is a different story with attack, but it's weaker and less flexible than BRD in many settings. Idk if BRD needs more buffs, you have to try really hard to find an event where you wouldn't favor it over the other buffers.
Imo the only fix BRD needs is to Tenuto. The ability is complete trash. It should be able to be paired with Piannisimo to give unremovable buffs to other players so you can lock certain songs on people.

Oh and if V15 is baseline for Gaol then BLU is used for Ngai too. It's the second best dps there I think and mighty guard helps a lot.

PLD- Fix Atonement dmg, at least add a zero.
WAR- Aggressor is a joke of an ability right now. +25 Acc and -25 Eva.. super out dated (Not that war needs to be buffed, might make subbing War more beneficial to other jobs.)
DRG- Wyvern Breath dmg
BRD- I feel like outside of Honor March and Aria BRD hasn't been buffed. Both locked behind an ultimate weapon. COR and GEO (Idris dependant) give way better attack buffs.

Which T3/4 is THF used for? Can do V15 bee NM. Maybe v20 but other piercing jobs are preferred.
Bumba too. It can Savage Blade like the rest of the lot and Larceny SP1s. But not common
