They already posted them, is a problem with their website RSS feeds or something though so they aren't showing up on bg/ffxiah.

Seems they are late on news about the update and this month's campaigns. Anyone have an idea on when they are likely to share those? Thanks.

I mean I went back to back east in the same 5 chest run. HQ east, NQ west, NQ N, NQ Central, HQ East.
I suppose it's possible in previous weeks I got a HQ chest from west/north/central before that double east, I don't think it's the case but for sure possible.
As far as the don't start on a chest you know can't be a HQ, I just meant if you finish your runs on say an east that produces a NQ chest one week, don't start with east chest the following week.

It doesn't cycle through all the chests before resetting, Once you find the HQ chest it will rng respawn in any of the 4 chests.
I've personally had it respawn in the same chest multiple times on several characters (get it on tememos east, don't get it again til I cycle back to tememos east).
Simply pick a zone to start with, one you know has a chance of being a HQ chest. Meaning if you end your runs on east and it was a NQ chest, dont start on east next time you go. then cycle through the chests one by one. If you're lucky you'll get 3+ HQ chests, if you're not you get 1-2(you'll always get it at least once cycling through the zones)

Perspective:
I have found myself saying "When I was a kid ..." about stuff from my teens and 20s. I need to be more definitive.
Growing old changes your perspectives.

So far the only valid complaints I have heard about Metroid are that it looks the exact same on Switch 1 as it does on the Switch 2. The only difference is load times. So like I said earlier, don't buy a Switch 2 for this game. The other complaint is the sidekick never shuts up.
Feels like Nynja is just crying about nothing again.

Can someone share their lua code for changing weapons to mythic during convert?
For a single swap, long CD JA.(esp with weapons) I just make it a macro. That way I have the option to not swap if I don't want to lose TP.
/equip main "weapon"
/ja "name" <me>

Loola Bunny, Dixie Kong

sets.precast.JA['Convert'] = {main="Murgleis"}
I'm only familiar with Sel's luas, and it gets a little more tricky if you want it to override Weapon sets. If you're not using a Weapon set, then the above should work fine.

As long as Samus is showing off in her Zero Suit at the end of the game when you hit the target completion time, it's a good Metroid game. :)

should just be a precast for convert like any other JA

Thanks for the replies, that's exactly the information I was looking for.
Juggling synergy grind and a stage 3 shield right now, so... hurray crafting grind.

I've never tried it, but you can't roll phalanx+ on weapons with DM, can you? Like Garfield, I also confirm that I got Phalanx on Colada 2 days ago. Was a +2 IIRC.

You enter a subregion. The person/computer giving orders (ADAM) tells Samus that he has upgrade data ready in the nearest data room. You proceed to the data room, which usually requires some exploration and killing a boss. ADAM tells samus he is uploading the upgrade or whatever when you get there. Then, you have a new thing.
There are a few that directly drop from bosses, but many come from data rooms in that manner.
I liked fusion quite a bit, but I preferred the 2d platformers anyway. Controls were very similar to Super Metroid, though it had less sequence breaks available.

In Fusion, Adam was responsible for her weapon upgrades. I think it was meant to be more like firmware than hardware, but idk. Bad writing. I guess you could argue that Adam was a software upload of her commander's personality, so it's kinda iffy.
Don't see that it matters; she's a bounty hunter, not an engineer. I didnt play fusion (I didnt have a GBA, never emulated it either), but do you list the wrong game? I scanned through a quick playthrough of fusion and it looks like Samus gets her weapons from killing bosses. Atleast the Wave beam and Plasma beam are added on boss kill. But it also says "recovered", so maybe theres something I missed.

Two things that are bothering me a lot in terms of internet.
1. Somehow I can login on my Outlook web via Safari. Im not sure what is it, but it is not accepting login via password. It demands other authentication methods or other device.
Microsoft is constantly asking my biometrics. *** dont want to leave any data behind.
2. AI support for searches breaking, and breaking the entire search.
If you cant process AI, you dont need to make impossible to “old school” search There is one thing that will cure most of this. Linux.

Yeah, I meant more "I never use Repair myself [and hardly even use the Smock]", the only time I get any mileage out of it is telling someone else, ok, sit here and hit this button, you're totally helping.

I just made https://www.ffxiah.com/item/11332/weavers-smock instead of putting points in Repair (like all others chiming in)
(the special action is "consumes 10 light fewell to repair furnace" at a higher potency than normal repair)
The true value of the repair button imo is that whoever you're doing the Fotia for can spam pressure -> lever -> repair constantly and not have to think. I myself almost never actually hit that button.
I've had a Weaver's Smock for years (decades?) and though I've tried using it a few times, it seems to me that it repairs about as much HP as you lose while using the "cooldown" time on using it.
I've made dozens of Fotia, Hachirin, etc. and never have anyone doing any pressure, lever, or repair. I do 100% of the synergy actions solo and it's fine.
You may already be aware of this (I presume so?) but having levels in those actions for yourself doesn't do anything for your party members. If they take those actions it uses THEIR levels, not yours. So having levels in Repair so someone else can spam repair...doesn't make sense.
