For enhancing magic, temper spells cap at 700 and enspells don't cap yet, but the highest tier atm is 724 iirc. Aquaveil possibly caps at 501, but I don't know it anyone who has the gear and MLs has tested 701. Regardless, you can't hit 701 with all aquaveil+ gear anyway, so it's a wash.

If you have a perfect enhancing set other than hoxne, you can cap temper at ML 45, but you still need to use incanter's. Even at ML 50 you won't cap temper with duelist's. If you have hoxne and a perfect set, you can cap at ML 25. Obviously, you can only hit that 724 for enspells with a perfect set including hoxne and ML 49 or 50.

For enfeebling magic, the real number to hit is 625 for frazzle iii, and you want to hit it while having full enfeebling potency gear as well. Nonetheless, you would want the duelist's torque in this set for duration, so you'd want to hit that skill in other slots. And you don't want to deal with hoxne's slow+ on enfeebling spells, even ones that don't immunobreak.

I agree we are close enough on values for practical use. But I would like to understand a bit more why we can’t nail it down.

One thought I have is we aren’t using the right aftermath value. If you look at the table that says 12% at 3k it’s rounded. Take the actual value 3k dmg and add .9 and divide and you don’t even get 12%. Ex: 1142.9/1021 =1.119 or if you did it the other way 1021x1.12=1143.5 which also doesn’t fit. so I am thinking maybe it’s much more likely 30/256 or maybe an out of 1024 value.

Any functional, one-command add-on that can scan all my luas and inventory and see what's not used anywhere? Looks like theres a couple of (complicated) options.

Pretty sure Closet Cleaner still works.
I'll be honest, I've tried multiple different occasions to get it to work. Despite reading the instructions and following them to a T, I couldnt get it to work.

If you can post your luas I can try myself (put them on github or pastebin or w/e and send me a pm). Its possible there's code in there it doesn't like. Also possible that one of them is bad since its just running the lua under the covers if one has a missing , or brace or something it will fail. Editing the ccjobs list and just doing 1 job at time should work to find this

There's not a lot of stuff that doesn't cap at 500.
One notable example is Temper II, it caps at 700.
You can totally reach 700 without Hoxne, but you don't exactly get a lot of options, especially if you're not ML50.
So, in light of that, Hoxne can help you reach 700 skill more easily.

Judging from the fact you mentioned Duelist+2 instead of Incanter's though, I'm afraid you had other things in mind with your question °-°
By Darvinkr on 2026-02-17 07:13:20
Is Hoxne Torque better than Duelist's torque +2 for anything?

The conversation reminded me of a twitter post I saw the other day, talking about the sworn(rdm pld blu) set, while the haste comes out higher than listed, the DT is being reported undervalue. Might be worth checking brd set as well

Top to bottom (head, body, hands, legs, feet) Blue is Haste, Green is DT.

https://x.com/higeburo_FF11/status/2022611882042138858

Someone will have to verify that, DT is always and has always been over not under

Unless the Player Mab, for this specific set and circumstance, also includes Pet Mab.
That would be... peculiar. I don't think there has ever been something like that before.
The only similar thing I can think of was Pet Attack on some items which also affected Pet Ranged Attack.

I wouldn't put my hopes on that, but I guess we'll find out soon.
In the remote hypothesys that it also applies to Pet, some of these pieces become interesting I suppose.
By frodnonnag on 2026-02-17 04:07:59
those still read to me like the mab is player and not pet, has that been checked?

Least dagger WS' were mostly accurate, ever since they put out the automaton WS numbers I often wonder if they're correct at all when they put out ftp/wsc

10.19?? 6.09? 7.11?? 8.19?? 4.81?? 8.81?

What are these numbers? Are we just throwing darts at a board now and seeing where they stick? Because 10.19 is perfectly fine but 10.2 is completely overpowered right? Like... whyyyyyyy?!?!?

My money is on fTP being represented as x/2048 and they just left it at 2 digits after the decimal place.

0.9 = 185/2048
0.19 = 390/2048
0.79 = 1618/2048
0.81 = 1660/2048

Not that this answers the question of why they'd pick odd numbers. I'm guessing

What ever this version of vorseals are called in Limbus increases in potency and I'm not sure if they are already at cap.
If we are to believe what they said in the last Vana'diel Talk, they were at "roughly half potency" when they were at +50 Acc, +1500 HP and 50% exp loss.
Which leads me to believe the full potency is probably somewhat around +100 acc, +3000 HP, 100% Exp loss etc.

The way they talked about it sounded like something else was in store in the future, like... more "vorseals-like" things to be added?
But it was a very generic sentence maybe it was a bad translation or maybe I just misinterpreted it, we'll see in a few months I guess.

As far as "catch-up" mechanics I'm not sure. I do believe they should be doing something, but I said the same for Sortie and 2+ years after they did absolutely nothing, so...
Like I said elsewhere they should release a new tier of chest where 1x Matter is 100% drop even from the base chest, and chance for a second matter if you get a 5k chest.
Also by raising the ilevel to 140+ they would indirectly raise the amount of Units you get per run. Small difference but everything counts, right?
As far as the weekly caps are concerned they already raised them from 50k to 70k so there's that, I guess.

There's nothing explicitly making you undesirable in the future or stopping you from making progress in the future, but there are weekly caps and overall units held caps and you will run into those VERY fast if you're trying to upgrade a bunch of armor.

Similar to people who complain that primes and empy armor cost the same currency...if you're suddenly trying to upgrade some cursed armor and get RP on it while simultaneously trying to upgrade your JSE to +4...you're gonna be pissy that you didn't get started earlier.

But, nothing mechanically stopping you, just lots of FOMO.

I think having a command to lock/unlock would be the most user-friendly. Something like "cam zlock [on/off/toggle]."

The coverage is amazing, but the results I get aren't parsimonious enough to pass the smell test for me. I think something is wrong with my damage formula or constants, still. Your results are incredibly precise at this point, so maybe it will give us some hint about where I'm wrong.

Using:
Base D = 331 = 3 + FLOOR(0.11*(482+277)) + FLOOR(8 + (3+216)/9) + 216
WSC = FLOOR(mod1 * stat1) + FLOOR(mod2 * stat2)
D = Base D + WSC
fTP = waypoint + Fotia Count * 25/256 (must be divisible by 256)
Prime AM 1k TP = 1 + 15/256 multiplier
Prime AM 2k TP = 1 + 23/256 multiplier
Prime AM 3k TP = 1 + 31/256 multiplier
MNK H2H pDIF cap = (3.5 + 77/256)*Prime AM
Secondary randomizer range = [1,1.05]

Damage = FLOOR(D*fTP*pDIF cap*Secondary randomizer)

Anyway, using the above equation, I get 41.75% STR and DEX mods with waypoints of 3 + 33/256, 7 + 70/256, 11 + 106/256. That just seems too unlikely to me, and the results don't consistently fall into your actual damage range so something about the flooring or math must be off. For example, your 1000 TP range is 7851 to 8244, but 7851*1.05 is 8243.5, which implies there is no flooring before the secondary randomizer.

Anyway, if you're looking to predict damage using the above formula then the mods and waypoint I listed above are probably good enough, but it leaves me dissatisfied from a reverse engineering perspective. Perhaps I'll get out COR and give it a look at some point!

I have no idea :(

I only unlocked all the ops once per nation, so I may not have seen every possible problem. You read Kayte's corrections as well, right?

Yep, we did, it still doesn't jive with what we're seeing... At this point we have no idea what to do except to actually issue a bug report.

Final Ranks are tied to northlands control for many ops. I wrote how I understand the system to work somewhere in the Mastery Rank system and then Kayte corrected me on some stuff, if you want to dig for it.

Nevermind, keyword search was kind to me: https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/55467/mastery-rank-data/66/#3771530

Byrth,

We really do extremely appreciate your summary. It is actually the basis for what we are using to go for 100% completion.

However, what we are experiencing is contradicting the information provided for certain OPS. All of these 4 - Steel Resolve, Magna Cache, Crystal Fist & Iron Anvil - are not upgrading even after multiple repeats (50+) from I to II. This is also taking into account that Northlands are under complete control, we have Fiat Lux available but no Steel Resolve IV...

We're at a complete loss as to what is going on, we think it may be bugged, has anyone experienced anything similar?

Any information or insight is appreciated!

Thank you

honestly it depends on what you're using/considering current TP sets.

In my DT set I mix nyame B and gleti. Replacing nyame B has big gains in DPS but replacing gleti's nets you gains in meva. I am working on alternating to balance dps and meva.

DRG has pretty bad itemization for balancing dps/meva/pet stats but the clemency set finally gives a decent balance.

Sim basically has flamma head + 4/5 clemency with only diarmuid + utu grip locked. Require PDT-50, MDT-50 and remove hjarr/flama/sulevia/carmine/vim and you get 5/5 clemency

That means they're all good pieces, but I would balance whatever I'm replacing (DPS or meva) and probably score the head/hands lower since gleti's gauntlets are highly valuable for petDT set and head has lower QA/competes with flamma in nonDT sets. Body has pet DT, feet have wyvern lvl+1, legs have wyvern regen+, not sure if swapping head would lose wyvern HP+ during WS or if it happens before the server checks.

My priority order is like:
body > feet > legs > hands/head
By bubba37343 on 2026-02-16 18:01:32
Yeah. I've done multiple repeats of everything it says, and no upgrades. I'll try again and hopefully get what I want done before week ends.

Thank you for the reply and link.

What would be the preferred behavior for the camera height lock.

Do you want a command that locks/unlocks or something that resyncs on lock-on?
