We can only speak in generalizations, this is being situational. I think the average(well slightly above average) drg with ares body and homam comes out slightly under perle. 5ish less atk and 2 less str or something? Someone add them up for me. Main point being, unless ur fighting something where your acc is capped AND you have a haste body then full perle is pretty much the top for drg atm. The haste+4 hands/legs can change that though and bring it back to a mixed set, but i'm not sure what jobs can wear them.

4 timarli hands 3 Homam legs 3 homam boots 5 turban - 17% haste Granted I have no idea where to get Timarli but it's the logical next step so homam is still a valid goal even if you have full perle. There are a couple things I find interesting about Perle for DDs.
1. It erases the line between poorly geared characters and average characters, because anyone from the bottom through mid tiers can afford it. 2. It makes gimps even easier to spot, because the choices now are Perle or better than Perle. Anything worse is now completely inexcusable due to easy access. (I'm looking at you, War I saw in WG today with 4/5 Perle, Woodville Axe, and Askar Head.) 3. It makes better geared players easier to spot, because they won't be wearing Perle or gimp stuff. (Drg don't count for this because... well Drg don't count in general.) I'd take a full perle sam, but calling someone an idiot for not wearing full perle is stupid.

I know I dont know shiz, but it seems to me that if you are trying to avoid emnity+ that a mix and match with perle/dusk, walmart turban and swift belt is a win...

If I started this game a couple months back and I didn't have a lot of endgame gear, I'd be rocking full Perle like a boss.
It helped to get some of the players with less time fairly up to par. It's a decent set for incredibly cheap. However, the person that called you dumb is a moron. We are surrounded by them, so get used to it. And no, i' no one special, just an ignorant fool that reads these forums and tries to learn from them
