Rajas Vs Sattva?

Its nice to play defensive on pld, but while your shadows are up, you should be going offensive. When your shadows drop, go on the defensive. Macro properly when the situation presents itself.

Wow thanks for all your posts guys. I am going to try both... I understand you can drop the ring and get another one after a period of time.
I will try Sattva first. Have in mind that I don't have the time and/or gil to go get those other items. I rarely do ENM, VNM runs and takes me a lot of time to get some gil.
But I am a very Defense/Enmity focused PLD so I want to start with that one.

Just remember, literally everyone has suggested Rajas except for one guy whose PLD is 27 and isn't far enough in CoP to have a ring.

why ask the question? This. If you're not going to take advice why bother asking to begin with? Rajas is the only good choice from CoP these days.

No one ever "whines" over someone else's decision, its the fact that they made such a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE decision that insults ppl imo :( Its like using Askar head over Turban :O just will never make any sense

Agreed.
Trying to be a Def/Emnity pld died years ago. Either evolve or quit the job and find something easier you can be good at.

There are lots of easy to get items without doing anything too hard.
jelly ring and patronus ring for pdt.
Hercules' ring and odium ring for emnity.
then again it boils down to if you want to use macros or not.

well, fair enough
For a career PLD which one is more convenient? I don't plan to level many DD jobs, I have SAM79 and will end DRG but that's it. I don't do dynamis, but just started doing Limbus, Sky and soon nyzul climbs using both SAM and PLD.
I keep hearing that Rajas also works good on PLD but I am not sure... the enmity, vit and agi from the sattva looks better to me.
