lol part of the reason I kept talking to Ovr when I met him was that he used the dumbest friggin lines but he always made me laugh my *** off. Didn't know what he looked like at the time, just loved that he made me laugh like he did.

I think it's how you pull it off. If you can pull off the comedy side of it,rather than a serious pick up attempt,then you have an "in" as a funny guy.

Vyre, Just do this one thing and you will be fine. When you get to the ship as a fresh out of school third class, or if you re-enlist for that E-5 auto promote, do NOT act like you're the ***just because you are a petty officer. Remember that you will have no real experience until you get to the ship and you spend some time at sea and get qualed. After you get qualed and you know your stuff, then you can act how ever you want. As a third class conventional working with Nukes, i had to put a few E-5 and even a few E-6 nukes in their place because they acted all high and mighty even though they had never been to sea and werent qualed a damn thing......
My mom had me and my sister completely convinced that cops were in the trees everywhere, too, so any time we were *** up in the car, even though there wasn't a cop in sight, there was always one in the trees she could hand us over to.
