I'd like to play the Zelda series. If Arte were here, he'd flip his lid. I'm weeping, does that count?

I just synthesized some home made coleslaw! It's yummy!
Nothing was measured (but the end result should taste a bit sweet like KFC/Ivars coleslaw does)
mayonnaise(also home made xD)
Red Wine Vinegar
dollop of Sour Cream
Sugar
Celery Seed or Poppy Seeds (for bitterness)
White Pepper

Fun challenge for Zelda Links Awakening on the Gameboy is try beating the final boss without fighting any other bosses and without clearing any of the dungeons. the way you do this is with the wall jump glitch, all the dungeons are programmed on the same screen pretty much, so wall jumping inside any area can take you to various dungeons/caves/buildings, to beat the last boss you need magic powder, bow/arrows and I think that was it other than a sword, I beat the final boss without losing by first 3 hearts lol
The glitch is activated when you open the map at the same time you zone into a new screen, you will appear on the opposite side of the next map, making it possible to go into areas that don't technically exist, but also there is a high chance of getting stuck! Also another fun and even lesser known part of this glitch is if you use the glitch and have it so you appear on a stares/door and are mostly through it when you appear it will automatically send you into that next area but you will be able to walk through every wall and most objects but there will be invisible water everywhere that you can fall into and without the flippers you can get stuck falling into water endlessly if you zoned into that water, same is true for pits
I have done this so much that I have most of these "back door/alleys" memorized and have even gone as far as collecting every item in the game and bypassing all the dungeons

they have fixed that glitch. was only in half the original launch versions. later versions of it, and the DX version <physical and Digital> dosn't. finding an original copy is kinda hard, since most copys floating out there are the later half. got one myself off ebay but it cost me bout 120$ 7 years ago so who knows what it is now. only got it for collection purposes tho, since i also have the DX one ;x

replaying through Ocarina of Time myself right now.
Usually do that at least once or twice a year, also trying out the Bravely Default demo myself since my sister loaned me her 3DS

I did some similar metagame stuff for the original zelda game, like beating the game never picking up any sword and using only bow/wand/boomerang/bombs to do all the damage.
Its kinda fun at the very start dodging the monsters with no weapon, running all over and pushing statues to reveal the goblins that will give you rupees for free, then use the money to buy the candle and use it to burn all the bushes covering more secret spots/one of the dungeons, then move onto getting the other non sword weapons, etc. Its still my favorite zelda because I could sequence break the traditional order of boss+dungeon completion (sorta like darksouls!)

yeah you needed the flute still to make it shrink and be killable by the bow which becomes your primary weapon for killing stuff when you arent boomerang stunning+stacking monsters to kill them with bomb/candel early on.
Its super late and i should be sleeping but you needed the flute to also do the fairy pond to make it dry out and reveal the hidden staircase (or maybe that was on the gameplus mode).

Woo! I have definitive proof that I was right and my mentor teacher was wrong in regards to using commas in appositives! Now the question is, should I rub it in her face, or just drop it?

Well it was on my mind, I started typing to kinda destress and created a wall of text...
I am truly blessed in my life as it stands. I have a wonderful wife and 3 daughters who are blooming into young woman greater then I could have hoped for. Being self employed with decent income is a blessing as I can take any time I need with my family; primarily working a M-F 9-5. I gained education to my own personal satisfaction, and continue to learn everyday, another blessing. The dog sleeping next to me at my desk in my small but comfortable home on a peaceful piece of land. All the things I yearned for as a child.
I would argue these are the basic wishes for most in life? These dreams where a massive challenge to me growing up a homeless orphan in the south side of Chicago Ghettos. I had the option of living in the city shelter but learned young it was safer to be on the streets. Often time folks will feel very sorry for me when questions arise of my family and upbringing. As one would see me now they would have no clue of the life I lead in my childhood. There is no need for emotions of pity, I knew nothing more than what I had when I was very young: As I got older I battled with my horns down and heels dug in deep pushing ahead furiously. I was damned if I would be poor or hungry; even more so if I would ever let my children suffer the way I did.
None of this has ever bothered me much. But, as my daughters get older and question who they are? Where does their family come from? Will they ever meet their fathers family? I was able to just pacify them when they where young to say, "Well your family is from Mexico, they are far away". This is no longer acceptable to them and we have to dig the very deep history of the what, where, why, who, how's?
I spent so many years holding my head up so hard and strong I was never quite ready to take this path. Disclosing the truths and explaining the harsh reality's of drug addicts, prostitution rings, trafficking, the soiled depths of an impoverished Mexican family becoming a crime family, engrossed by their own evil leading to pure destructiveness. So the story starts with my mother being a 15 year old prostitute and father being a drugged up trafficker. How the hell are you supposed to back tract that story to your daughters growing up in a (not to be a crass) primarily white middle-class lifestyle.
When I was 15 I started to research these questions for myself. Near 10 years later of court records and traveling I came to small(maybe 1,000 people) town in Mexico where it all started. There is great beauty in our heritage if you where to go from my great grandfather down. Unfortunately 2 generation of family turned everything into ***. I know the best way is to be honest. I guess my hindered is how to present this in a way to 3 still young(teenagers) and impressionable girls with out them taking a feeling of worthlessness about our history, thinking, "Holy ***, that's some cool sounding crazy mafia ***"! My hope is like their father they can accept that emptiness, understand it for what it is, and let it go.
Night.

Another character? From now on, I'm just going to assume everyone who posts from Bismarck that I don't recognize is you.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
