Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

Some good TV shows out now.
Daredevil looks like it's back to its best. Not sure about the now I can fight too! and oh and we're also f***ing new relationship with his lady friend.
Daredevil and The Boys has been excellent so far!
But...ok, I do like a lot of things about the show Invincible.... but I hate Robert Kirkman's method of storytelling. You spend 58 minutes wondering why you watch an episode, why we're in a certain setting, why certain characters are involved ...and in the last 2 minutes, you get a very weak, loose connection to the main story. It's a fake carbon-copy of comic book story-telling directly transfered to TV.
It's called character building.
and/or stalling, because the next stopping point is slightly closer than 8 episodes and they need to fill a 40 minutes to round it out

No. No, it's not. It's Kirkman's ATTEMPT at character-building. Look at back the TWD's 90-minute Governor episode. Or the number of times where Rick/Neagan have a show-down at each other's door-step (where nothing happens!).
In Invincible, 2 episodes ago: Why are we in hell? Who is Volcanika? I mean, yes she shows up on screen as a bad guy, you spend the whole episode wondering, "why are we watching this story?" ...and in the last 2 minutes, someone gets a phone-call with a familiar voice. ...and THAT is supposed to justify my having watched the whole episode? Give me a break!
TLDR: Robert Kirkman writing be like: "Remember that piece of gum that Mark stepped in? Let's give it a backstory, while Mark takes a ***or does laundry, haha, watch it! ...because *** you, that's why!" Awful, awful writing.

The whole episode was Mark feels bad he's just like Nolan.
The demons summon Nolan but get Mark. The whole thing is showing how he's not his father. That's the point of the episode. Actions. Choices. Lesser evils (literally).
Volcanica is a villian from about 30 issues later in the comics, the story is sometimes shifted around to fit the arc better.
Issues #103–#108 is where you will find her core storyline. Now when she comes back in Season 6, you know who she is.

I understand what you're saying. I get it. I just think the show is missing some kind of exposition. Why are there never any moments where a character self-reflects, dwells or even just digests what happened to them or their friends? Instead, the show just plays some music over a character's facial expression, and I'm just supposed to infer ...*something*? Don't get me wrong, it's a good/decent show, but it's definitely got some holes in it's delivery.
Also, I find things like this hilarious. (and this is the kind of shallow-depth facial expressions with no exposition, that I'm referring to):

What's REALLY important here, is who is gonna be showrunner and writers for the new Stargate.

It has started (at least in Brazil).
The 1984 dystopia is finally in the center of the room (not hidden in the corner).
A couple of months ago, an youtuber made a video that went viral denouncing other youtubers who exploited minors in sensual content.
After this denouncing, the politicians started to write new laws to "protect" the minors.
Result? Just now, for the first time, Reddit asked me to send either my ID or a selphie to the site.
Yeah, a supposed law to "protect" minor forcing unrelated people like me to share even more personal info for sites we never know what they will do with it.
They distorted a flag none could go against (protecting minors) to sneakly implement more forms of cattle controlling...

to sneakly implement more forms of cattle controlling... Well said. They gonna hook us "by any means necessary"
Had a lot of conversations with EU ppls about this. It's interesting for a little while, but it's just that. Cattle control.

It's just mandatory online ID under the guise of "thing you can't argue against".
Same mandatory online ID is now mandatory for using online banking accounts. Just like a mandatory form of ID. Just online.
But no, don't call it "mandatory online ID" because that does not exist. Except the mandatory online ID you have to show for online banking services.
Next thing is your local supermarket needs online not-ID to send you sharp things, like, you know, things to cut food with, just in case you're a minor that may hurt themselves buying cutlery online.
Except that's not the plot to a Black Mirror episode, that already happens.

There is nothing the government won't do under the lie of "protecting children"
They just haven't pushed the boundaries yet. They're figuring out how far they're allowed to go, it's almost impossible to argue against because you sound insane being against "protecting children" even though everyone knows it's ***.
They'll say out one side of their mouth to protect children we need this, and at the same time *** them kids about education, or nutrition or medical care or mental health or child exploitation or child labor or child marriage.

That whole episode with Volcanika was completely redundant. Why are we seeing randos in hell all of a sudden, and why is a 1hr episode dedicated almost entirely to brand new characters we have never seen before and likely never will again.
All just to show that Mark is very much like his dad, as much as he pretends not to or does not like it. Yeah, no ***, he is his dad's son. That's how genetics works.
The TV show does not shy away from changing things from the comics when it makes sense, or to create more character depth. They should not shy away from skipping things entirely when they are redundant either.

Super heroes need random *** rogue's gallery of random villains. That's the whole deal.
Where good guy, there bad guy
The episode is the origin story for her second appearance. The comic glanced over it, this was a fix for it.
Most of the fights in the comic are one, maybe two panels. But you don't complain when they flesh that out into 10, 15 minutes of animation.
By Dodik 2026-04-12 05:47:32
Hey, I also complained about the last fight putting me off eating sausages for $reasons.
I'm all for accuracy from the source material. Just skip the boring redundant bits, cause, you know, boring and redundant.

There is nothing the government won't do under the lie of "protecting children" Except punish the rich and powerful who exploit* them.
*There are several other verbs that would fit here as well. Some of them even printable in family publications.

That's why it's a lie. They wont actually protect children.
They'll say out one side of their mouth to protect children we need this, and at the same time *** them kids about education, or nutrition or medical care or mental health or child exploitation or child labor or child marriage.

This is funny...
I never watch any movie, but I decided to pick one in particular.
And that one was The Glass Cage (1996), a softcore porn movie that I think I watched back when I was very young, maybe one of the first of the genre I watched, so I decided to re-watch for... science, yeah, science.
But I picked one site, started 10 minutes, went to sleep then got back to keep going, but it was taken down.
Then I looked for other sites, picked another one, watched more 10 minutes, went ot sleep, then today I got back to watch a little more.
And it was taken down AGAIN!
It is not like it is a popular movie (***, it s a softcore porn...) nor a new movie (dang, its from 1996).
I really dont get why it is being taken down right the next day I watch a part of it.
Feels like the Matric is monitoring me right now.
The Matrix is set to screw my plans, that is the only explanation to such a "coincidence"...

After being successful with 2 vibe coding projects for work, now I feel the need to try doing one personal project.
Unfortunately it is not legit using my Copilot work license for personal interest, so Im about to subscribe to Claude.
Everyone I heard says it is the go-to tool for basically everything but media.
My only problem is that Im really bad with credits.
I feel so cheap that I try to save as much as I can, despite knowing the best is always using the full capacity of something instead of saving for no reason.
IDK, lets see how this work out

They will dash your hopes and dreams faster than a sportsball team. I hope that Canadian politicians are at least polite about it.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
