I'd probably just respond "Cool story, bro!" or something.

Doesn't seem worrisome to me, the way it's worded, even that moment of him saying it could be a repeat of the first time it was said. Meaning you have no recollection of the previous repeats, so it's still technically a new experience to you each time. The pain/pleasures of life would therefore neither increase or decrease because of the statement.

It is a thought experiment to see if you are living a good life or not. That is how I took it.


Basically if you had to live your life over and over would you want to ? And why ?

There is always something in one's life that could be changed, its hard to say what those changes can bring whether positive like we want it to, or negative due to unforeseen events in the future.

Depending on things, its quite a gamble to pick the "relive your life a different way"

It would be boring that is for sure. You would know everything that is going to happen. In the exact same sequence.

Would you? Every time the relive your life question is brought up it is always assumed that you would know everything you knew from the first run through. What if you're wiped beforehand?

Literally just said that in call. If you didn't know, then you'd do the same exact things you did before, but you wouldn't know and everything in existence would be on repeat.

What if we all relived our lives and already knew everything that would happen if we relived it the same way
