Night shift should not exist, Spath! I will admit sometimes I do like it because when Ovr's super dragging ***, it's easy to get money out of him... Other than that though, it's awful!
Completely agreed. x.x But at least I have a job. Now the key is finding a new one. \o/
Granted I found out last night that one of our managers is now leaving and his position is open... Tempted to apply but that would probably mean me staying on nights another year...
I actually got on here last week but my laptop popped up with "hey ***, your hard drive is gonna ***out so you might want to fix that soon" so I closed this and went looking for a new one instead. No offense to you guys, but it seemed slightly more important lol
Yeah, that makes a ton of sense. Do what you need for you first; everything else can wait. But it doesn't change the fact that we miiiissssssss youuuuuuuuuu!
You might want to consider cutting that as well. The sodium count in Gatorade is astounding. Nothing beats good ol' fashioned water. But that's awesome that you're changing your habits. It's definitely a path in the right direction.
I love carrots! Unless they're cooked. Then they're so nasty. Bleeeh so squishy and mushy and barf.
god yes raw only.
one of my fav veggies too, broccoli cut small and dipped beside it? heaven
Do mushrooms count as veggies? If so, yes plox. If not, too bad, I'm eating them anyway. I'm more of a celery/green pepper fan. I'll eat both raw and by the truckloads. Don't even need a dip or peanut butter or whatever.
I'll eat carrots too, but I'm with Spoons. Definitely keep them raw. The only time I like cooked carrots is when they're used to naturally sweeten homemade tomato sauce. Then I just let them cook and donate their natural sweetness before tossing them out, because barf.
Off the topic of food, we're thinking about getting a dog maybe within this year. Clearly it'll need to be good with kids. What kind of dogs do you guys like?
Man, I love cooked carrots. Of course if they're overly mushy it's gross, but get them just right... nomnomnom!
lol Mag reminded me! The other day a friend of mine at work was eating a green pepper basically like an apple. I stopped and was like "What are you doing?!" Think I made her feel bad about, oops. xD Kinda gross IMO!

Ovr's step dad eats the red and orange ones like they're apples. He'll eat an onion like that, too. I gag every time I see him eat an onion. How the ffffuck he can do that is beyond me.
I personally am in love with Shelties. I think I might get Shelties the rest of my life (well, I might get a Scottish Terrier first so I can call him Scruffy). Pretty much every Sheltie I've come across has been very calm and gentle (adversely, they can also be lazy). Most of them don't have problems with kids, but this last one I have used to growl at my niece and nephew, so it's kind of a grab bag. Plus, if you go that route, there should be a Sheltie rescue shelter you can look up online in your area with a lot of great animals.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
