RL: Stay in my room. Keep mostly to myself. Have to take dog outside where I might run into strangers and be forced into awkward conversations. FFXIV: Stay in my room. Keep mostly to myself. Have to do daily roulettes where I might run into strangers and be forced into awkward conversations. I feel like there should be more core differences. Not sure how this plays on the steam version as I played the original. Brutally difficult lots of character progression. It's a sequel but it's fine to play w/o having played the first part as the story changes to match you being a new party. Word of warning though the most obvious route is normally wrong. The game teaches you this VERY early. Your character sink like stones till they have good swimming btw so avoid water. Also you might need a notebook and maybe some graph paper as the game doesn't map for you till you get a character with a map set and mapping skill. |
