Samurai 7 was, and still is my number 1 favorite anime, if only for the funny antics of Kikucho trying to prove he's a real samurai.

As for my second favorite, it would have to be the Tenchi Muyo series as a whole, although the newest mini-episode series was a bit of a let down, and they could have done so much more with War on Geminar.

A more recent series I've got an investment in is GATE (and no, I don't mean Stein's Gate)

There isn't a best anime anyway, since there are so many different genres out there. It first and foremost depends on what kind of stuff you like, just like with movies, series and books.

Unfortunately true, and the little changes can be pretty big to certain people. Though I try not to let minor changes faze me unless it somehow changes the story, or contradicts past events.

I just hope I get something usable to hold me over until December or so.
After that, all my mythril is gonna be saved up for the Rift of Recollection event, since there'll be a few Super Soul Break weapons on those banners. :I

Really wanna make sure I can clear Rift of Recollection's super boss.
Only one stage, 1 stamina cost, against Omega from FFV. Weak to lightning, absorbs all other elements. Only status it's vulnerable to is Stop.
First time reward is the Omega Badge (FFV); accessory with Attack +20 and Resistance +15. :Q
Completion reward is 60,000 gil too, which certainly isn't bad for 1 stamina if you can clear it reliably. :I

When it comes to RK, Lightning is my favorite element to use, and I have plenty of ranked up Thundara Strikes, and Thundajas. I think my only issue is that I don't have squat for FFV characters aside from Lenna, and she's more of a healer (and I don't have squat for MAG armor/equips either)

Edit: I've also had the Crystal Sword (VII) for a while, which grants me the use of Double Thunder Cut
