Hey Proth, not sure if you delve into Papyrus but if you do, how hard would it be to make a script effect for an Oblivion or Skyrim weapon that adds your character level to the damage of a weapon?

Like a sword with a base 10 damage or something, so at lv 1 you basically do 11 damage before sword damage modifiers.

Basically want to make a custom sword at some point but not one that's broken from the start.

That would be very script heavy as it would need to constantly check to see if your level matches the weapon's level. Easiest and lightest approach would be to just flag the new weapon as a leveled item and use one of the mods that lets you update leveled items to your current level.

I played one a long time ago on the original gameboy, seemed enjoyable at the time. As it's been nearly 20 years, kind of foggy

Took a gamble on the Reno because I got the official SE one and some reason China takes months to send stuff :/, its either wait for him another month or just have this etsy seller create me one but he takes months too lol.

Finally got my new Note, but honestly don't notice a difference from the note 10, I guess I'm not sophisticated enough but I guess it scrolls faster through windows lol.

They were okay at the time of release as RPG selection wasn't very diverse then. Legends 1+2 / Saga 1+2 didn't really age well though since RNG level ups really can kill your experience, as well as durability weapon systems can cause a soft lock of your game if you aren't careful (running out of weapons and abilities to use). There are a lot of underlying mechanics that will make you scratch your head if you're unfamiliar, especially the monster meat system if you choose to go that route with one of your party members.

It's sad they didn't choose to localize the DS remasters of the very same games that were JP only - instead choosing to just re-release with one or two extra features that don't seem to game breaking.

With the above being said, Legends 3 / Saga 3 is the most traditional JRPG of the three games and would probably be worth playing if you are looking to try out this classic trilogy though I personally wouldn't pay more than $20 USD for the entire thing, if even that.

If you've played the DS games for Saga then you shouldn't worry yourself about the GB games :) I played Saga 2 myself on DS and I felt it was quite faithful to the original story and pathing and the QoL's were very good, especially with how they made the minor but perfect change to monster meat so you don't downgrade yourself infinitely bad stat wise.

I haven't played Saga 1 or Saga 3 DS remake, but I am of personal opinion that I feel Saga 2 is the best game of that trilogy set for the GB so I feel I would hold the same opinion for the DS remakes too.
