Eh...

I was spending monthly $150 on FFXI subs for a while.

When i was using less chars, the thought were “hey, its 20~30$ a month but it is still way cheaper than any other entertainment option for the same time”.

After a few years, more chars and a terrible money conversion (it was 2: 1$ now its 5: 1$), the cost of playing FFXI starts to become a little intimidating...

I always see it as an decision: whats worth more, cash or time?

When you have lots of time but is low on cash, you can run one account and do all the things slowly (like building millions of gils for HQs, JP grind, lvling etc).

Later on life, you have less time but more cash. Then you can have extra accounts to accelerate your growth N times (being N the number of "slaves" that gonna do most of your job).

At my point, if i need to pay extra 13$ and bypass stuffs like cutting 1/N the time to farm certain amount of gil, or skipping out yells or partying events, then its still a good choice.

It just sucks all the commemorative content from FFXI tend to be time consuming, and all those mini lottos really adds up and kills most of my play time.


I used to play FFRK, when i was at a point of spending same amount of FFXI subs money on gacha gacha content, that was the point i decided to quit (also because FFRK started to become a mindless grinding fest).

Same here, I left FFRK for similar reasons, haven't logged in there for ages.

The new cars for the Pike's Peak Cog Railway were lifted on to their tracks this week in Manitou Springs, meaning that the re-opening of this 100+ year old tradition is on schedule for May 2021.

The tourist attraction opened in 1890, and in 2017 was closed due to deteriorating track. Building a Cog railway through the wilderness and climbing almost 8,000 feet isn't exactly a weekend project- most of the track had to be rebuilt completely, and also required new equipment. Add in last year's shutdowns for COVID, and the schedule was drastically altered last March when they realized that their entire plan for summer work would be changed.

But if you ever visit Colorado and are coming from somewhere closer to sea level, its still the best way to get to stand at 14,000' feet and look upon the Rockies. :)

Iv gained 15kg in about a month i should be 70 but i am 85, not eaten much since yesterday outside of juice and a slice of bread, what should i eat that would not get me above 1100 calories a day hmm, i dont like vegetables and fruits this gunna be hard

I was used to not eating much but i got no idea about calories of food, man *** corona quarantine and beer, ok i guess fish or chicken is not so bad after all

i finally listened to Ryan's podcast with draylo, and he makes my questions sound like i'm a total ***, i mean, i mean i am, but not to draylo!

I refuse to believe carrot is self aware

I also have bad tendency to get fat pretty quickly so what i did was buying a balance so i could keep track of my body weight changes daily. Then you can fine tune what / how much to eat without many sacrifices.

That said, 15kg for someone with 70kg (aka, youre not fat at all unless youre pretty short) in a month isnt something that seems normal. Maybe figuring what happened that month so you can get back to normal.

Real answer though is to look for a nutritionist, so you can have a proper diet. I myself am always thinking in going to one, mainly to have proper amount of vitamins daily, what is fundamental to stay healthy during a pandemic. But i admit that im really bad to convince myself to look for a doctor.
