Imho the only difficult part about japanese is learning the kanji. The language itself is pretty easy, sure the different forms can be confusing sometimes, but it's not too big of a deal compared to many other languages.
You know I wish retail was a bit more flexable with scheduling.
I'd happily do 4 ten hour shifts then have 3 days off.
This random calling in and fluctuations between 10-6 and 2-10s are killing me.
Hey Flavin, random question if you see this and feel like answering XD. You started WKC2 from the second game right? If so how many skill points did it start you off with?
Mainly wondering because I read it does lv35 with 140 skill points, but eldore in my game has 118 at lv26 and gaining 8 per level atm (I havn't spent any of his) so its working out to more then then 140 starting from lv1. IDK just makeing me wonder if they ninjaed in the extra SP from rebirths or something.

199 for each person. 200 for my avatar.
Edit: and they all get dropped to 35. It actually sets their skill tree up based on the weapons you had equipped to them and leaves about 46 points left to dole out. Thoguh, right at the begining there's a training dummy that you can use to reset all your skills and redo the whole tree. I went with swords as there is now a temp dual weild lol.

That makes alot more sense then thanks XD
Been going with swords as well since it's what I liked most in the first one. What do you think of the changes they made? The only thing I don't really like is that you can't sub out other stats for str to increace damage anymore (IE most slashing attacks in the first one were 50%str/50%agl, some were even 100%agl)

It feels a bit more fluid now and I've only played around with swords so far. They have added a few new moves (mostly dual weapons and 2 exclusive abilities for that) but there are still I think 5 skills I do not have access to. I think I might need to get further in the game before they unlock. I was really looking forward to more AoE moves but so far in sword there is only one and that's with dual blades on.
They also have new exploits at certain times on the mob a symbol will show up and if you hit the corresponding attack ie. slashing at the time you do bonus damage.

Dual weild you do need to unlock doing a errend yeh, no idea how far in you need to be for the errend but it starts in Balendor and you need to get a rare drop for it thats apperently a *** XD

Yep I make liberal use of this XD I also like how normal attacks dont use AC anymore so they are actually worth useing to trigger the knock down on big mobs. Then finish them off with a short combo or 2

You can dual weild right off the bat but its the last thing you get so you need to put like 180 (give or take 10) points into sword lol. Then each fight you have to activate it using one AC. It lasts for the duration of the battle then deactivates.
I only beat (what I consider the prolouge) which was stupidly hard because you have to get the npc to position itself outside the boss' AoE range when it uses its special moves or else they die and its game over.
After that starts the journey and you can start to pick up errands then. Not sure which errands reward what there as I stopped playing due to other things having to get done lol.
Your ninja edit there is just yeah I was so happy to see that this game.
That was my biggest probelm with the first one. They give us all these attacks but only 3 of them have a purpose outside of combos lol. It also helps to seperate DD from healer since there is something to do with mp except sit on it till you need healed.

Instead of AC now MP is used to do the more advanced moves.

Yeh thats what I'm getting at. In the first one pritty much everyone was expected to heal them selves (online wise) because there was hardly any other use for mp. Now that spending mp playes a role in DDing I could see people makeing use of a dedicated healer where as before it was just a waste of a slot.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
