I would argue that PlayOnline Viewer could be removed, but I've also seen people want me dead for suggesting that, because "PlayOnline Viewer was part of the experience".
I will admit that the PoL viewer was part of the experience, but it wasn't a positive part.
It is the main reason that I keep missing the return home campaigns.
This doesn't make any sense.
POL would have been fine if they had updated it as they went along instead of scrapping it entirely.
I used to hate how people would use fake accounts to debate topics on youtube or forums but I'm starting to see the logic behind it. Its like if someone knows you they will use any knowledge they have to personally attack you or belittle your opinion with any information they have on you. When its someone completely anonymous they cant resort to those tactics. Finally the internet anonymity can work for good. I even had someone create a whole story about me just because of my avatar lol, insane.
That's lesson you shoulda picked up a dozen years ago dood.
If you aren't using your anonymity while you can, you're doin that ***wrong boys.
And if your reasoning is building of reputation, you're double wrong and sad on top, lol. Unless of course you're selling your life for money, and even then I would still have anonymous spares.

Actually is something more closer than that.
The thing is, if you use your real name in any topic, there is a chance google can accurately display it.
And that can work against you for example when you are in an interview for a job, and the employeer do a quick search on internet to see what you honestly think about things.
Also, when you move to a new enviroment, people around you can start searching leads of your personality on internet if you starta receiving some attention, for good or bad.
Thats even more cruel because people change overtime, and if you post some opinion when youre teenager, after a decade, youre already an adult and will see some random *** posted in a random forum.
So, yeah, as much as I understand the need of correlating an avatar to a real person, at the end of day, ive been advocating more about the interent's anonymity. Because virtual world isnt the real world, so the same rules shouldnt apply.
One thing I've learned on my trip so far is that karaoke and good food transcend language barriers. No matter how different your language is, you can make friends over hot-pot and a microphone.

Tell us more! I'm assuming you are in Japan rn?
Close guess! We're in Vietnam right now celebrating my partner's friend's wedding and to visit some friends and family since they haven't been home in ~6 years.
It's extremely different here, but everyone has been super friendly.
I just had the weirdest bug. I crashed and then tried to log into POL and it would refuse to launch, just kept crashing. I did some googling and came up with nothing until an offical forum post. Saying because their gamepad was connected POL refused to open. I had an HDMI cable connected to a TV to watch a movie earlier. Taking that out made it work... the more you now.
Reflecting on 22, it was a really ***entire year for movies lol.
There's like 3 space movies, like 2 mysteries, like zero thrillers, one sci-fi (Oh there were 2 pinnochios), 3? monster movies
Good action year, terrible everything else year.
53% of the ticket sales for movies in 2022 were action apparently. 3% Thriller 8% Horror
46 Thrillers released, I watched/wanted to see two.
28 Adventure movies, I saw ONE.
146 Drama, I saw two.
The pandemic delays caught up to us. It was definitely a rough movie year. You can tell by just the awards nominations how weak the field is. Wasn't a great year for gaming either. Elden Ring, Ragnarok, Horizon a distant third.
By looking Berserk videos on youtube, i learn that the story will continue by the hands of another artist.
I guess, thats wonderful. Though, looking now, not even ten chapters released in 2 years. Hopefully Kentaro Miura left his work not that long from the ending…

But...the artist literally died and still got episodes out? It's not uncommon for mangaka to be sick and be incapable of drawing.

I still need to watch a lot of the nominated movies, but what I have seen so far I've enjoyed. Elvis was good, both the main actor and Luhrmann's directing...especially if you're a fan of his older films, specifically the 90s trilogy of Strictly Ballroom/Romeo & Juliet/Moulin Rouge. The Banshees of Inisherin was good too, it kinda had a 'cut your nose off to spite your face' vibe. White Noise was good, even though I'm not the biggest fan of Adam Driver. It was set in the 80s and they did a kickass job of making it feel authentic. It had a very whimsical feel to it, especially that bizarre dialog...people would make some random comment that you might think odd, but the characters reacted like it was normal...and that grocery store scene at the end with LCD Soundsystem playing was brilliant.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
