Because he doesn't actually play the game nor engage with any relevant 2024 content. You will see him or his Digimon-named ML50 alts standing in the same locations for days. I would be surprised if he has any Odyssey gear unlocked, much less augmented, nor would I expect him to have any progress in Sortie at all. I'm happy to be proven wrong, though.

It's honestly weird that you care that much about me to keep tabs like that. I have honestly no idea who you even are, and yet you know about my characters, where I am and what I do and what progress I have? Don't you find that the least bit strange? And why exactly do you care if I play or when/where? I know you are a spicy Ryan thumper, but can you get anymore weird? I've done everything in this game, and probably long before your character was even made.

I get the most random and weirdest tells from people saying stuff like "poser, you don't even play." Like how miserable can people be to care that much how often someone plays? Regardless I still love ffxi it's still my favorite game. What I think about ffxi doesn't influence SE to care about the game, so your disdain is certainly misplaced.

most people found it odd when you constantly engage with 75 era stans saying retail ffxi is the best and you don't play, that's probably why you got the reputation you have as of late.

Except most of this weird rumor gossip has been going over a year, even before that private server started. Attention, in a forum of a 20 year old game? Give me a break... this is one of the few gaming places I frequent, I have plenty of places for "attention" and certainly don't need it from this forum.

I didn't engage with them for attention either. I really believe retail is a better ffxi experience over a shitty private server. I have strong opinions about it and I debate them when it comes up. Regardless if I play now or not, I have vast FFXI knowledge and including current content. Most of these gossip posters are just taking a jab because of their little gossip circles. This person being someone who played with spicyryan makes sense why they would think they know me. Almost nobody on this forum "knows me" so I find it weird they would think they know what characters I play and when, or why any of that matters. If I had an anon account debating these topics like you, would you dig that deep to try and find any hint of perceived weakness to lessen my opinion? So weird honestly, but 20 years later and we are scratching at the bottom of the barrel to debate on a forum lol.

I wasn't talking about you, I know you were just messing around. It was at Hya and another thread some other random anon account. But some people really send me tells (prolly in his circle too) saying weird crap about me playing. So it just seemed funny

Don't worry. Just enjoy retail. SE probably won't shut it down until there is 1 server with 100 players. I wasn't playing by the rules since maybe 2016 or 2017 whenever after SE announced they stopped doing anymore major updates.

As much as I like soccer/football, and as much as I cheer for my club, Im at a point in life that I despise media/content that makes me feel tension, anxiety.

Thats pretty much how I feel watching my club playing in championship.

Add to the tension that I live in the hometown of the club thats current biggest rival (my own club home is in another estate).

When there is the big match between both, is like Im surrounded by the adversary.

BTW, both them are playing against each other right now. I have 0 desire to watch it in real time. Gonna wait the end result, and if my club wins, then I can see the highlights. If its a loss, not even that.

Basically I did this with 2 friends while camping Kur. It went super fast.

Cleave the Dragons right at the Wyrm's spawn area.

I usually stockpile those single KI pop while farming the VWNM, cleaving those spheroids, getting also items to pop the Khimaira.

Lots of wins in that route.
