Eww, she doesn't know where that controller has been, and who has touched it :(

Where did you even... I didn't even mention anything like.... what relevance does that hold to the pic I....

Ugh, nevermind.

think about it :D

I did, and I get your point. It's disgusting how society views gamers, and even to a degree has been self-inflicted too. But the point of the previous picture was to show mutual respect for one another when focused on vital tasks at hand... Nobody wants to be interrupted when enthralled in their poison of choice.

lol I didn't see that as the point at all, but I can see how you can see that...

You know, I would never put my tongue on a controller. <.<;

I know right! You get to playing, reach down and pet the dog, play some more, hands get sweaty, wipe them on the jeans that you previously wiped cheeto dust off on, play some more, set them on the floor for awhile, let dust collect on them, a couple weeks later after the dogs have run over them 8 or 10 times play a bit more, have some pals over and let them play, lord only knows what they've touched besides your controller... The last place that thing is ever going is near my tongue.

Plus, how gross would it be to pick up a hunk of plastic that you just licked and play with it some more. What did my hand do to deserve such sticky yuckiness? ;;

Working retail just seems to be a different breed than me. My brother did it, can do it and is doing it in the sense that he works with people still. [lol geico]

I enjoy manual labor, and working with the rougher collared folks. Did metal scrapping, and while it sucked pretty bad I enjoyed it way more than selling games.

I enjoy a job well done, but am lazy and prefer to work smart over hard.

I'm planning to get into hardware design.

I almost never clean anything besides my hands, those get washed often but not much else, and I still never get sick (short of sinus infection/ kidney stone)

I don't think I've been sick in 8 years...

Okay, so I have a dilemma here.
I am very tough on my shoes.
In fact, in my childhood, despite my lack of recollection, I have destroyed a pair of Doc Martens that my mom bought for me as a kid.
To this day, I cannot own a single pair of shoes/boots or any footware whatsoever that isn't literally falling apart several months later.

Should I just accept the fact that my feet are the bane of their vessels and purchase cheap shoes and let them ride out as long as they last, or should I do some research into heavy *** duty work boots that live up to their reputation of endurance?

I'd prefer an oxford style shoe for work, but my last pair didn't even survive for one month :<
As long as they're of a material that can be polished, I shouldn't have any dress code issues.

I tear up shoes after a few months too, and since I have size 14 4e extra wide shoes... they aren't cheap...

I wear this:

The steel toe isn't really necessary, but it's gotten me out of a couple binds. Just don't let anything really heavy fall on them, or you can kiss your toes goodbye. But, I usually have the same problem as you do, and those shoes have lasted me for almost 6 years now.

I find it best to buy several pair at a time and rotate, so they all last longer, however I have some mild rls, probably due to my caffeine consumption and always feel suffocated by new shoes.

Those look good Mag.
I might have to get myself a pair of those. They could serve a dual purpose of work boot and expeditions that require protection, be it hiking or concert goings.

I should also invest in decent insoles. My damned heels caved in the arch support on my last pair so every time I step now, my right foot rides on the metal frame inside. Very painful and uncomfortable.

I usually just get 'em from Payless or Walmart. They'll run you about 30-40, but it's worth it. Brahmas, they're called.

Gonna try uploading a song onto my tumblr thingy for the first time; despite only having one follower.

Any suggestions?
FF music? Chrono Cross music? Dvorak's 9th Symphony, 1st movement?

I'm being stupid, halp!
I need to get the expected value of log(w-x) w/ w being a constant, and x being a uniform distrobution. Cant for the life of me figure out how to deal w/ it w/o breaking some rule of Expected values or logs :/

Edit: I'm assuming most of our mathologists are asleep but worth a shot!
