Aw I'm on Uldaman (horde) and Windrunner (alliance). I just got back into playing after over a year break. I would link my character, but my equipment is embarrassing :P Granted I did just hit 85 on Monday >.>
I might give WoW another chance someday. I had fun doing my own thing, treating it like a single player game. But ultimately that's what it felt like. Doing PUGs for whatever dungeons I was supposed to be questing or leveling up in for gear and whatnot felt like I was playing with robots. Not to mention the pace seemed rather unforgiving to those that enjoyed partaking in the story, lore or going at their own pace for each area that opened up per level.
Is your case getting enough airflow? Do you have a small fan you can put on it if you take off a side of the case?
I guess I could put my box fan in front of it or somewhere close to it when I run it but I dunno if it's that... I mean why would I be able to run 1 game just fine (still not sure of the lag thing) and have problems 20 seconds into a stress test? it baffles my mind lol.
A stress test beats the hell out of your hardware. I think your system is heating up and shutting down as a safety measure. On your EVGA program take the fans off auto and set them at 70%, and place a fan on the side of your case. Then try that stress test again.
I like gear swapping! That means I get more loot! >:D
Gear swapping is great if the inventory and storage capacity system were on par with the amount of gear required to make ideal or tactful motions in combat with minimal strain on the player itself.
Alas, I think the current system doesn't sustain the concept of gear swapping very well. I like gear swapping in terms of making more tactful movements in battle and giving abundance to varieties of gear and their utility. But in terms of magically changing in mid-battle, it is a bit silly and unrealistic. Unless you were these chicks.
Still shut down, I've either got this thing hooked up wrong (as in not enough juice is getting to it corectly... if that's even possible?!?) or my PSU is just *** lol (I really don't want this to be the case, I have no money for a new PSU)
I have always had inventory "problems" in FFXI. But it's manageable, lol. But I mean, if you look at all the jobs I level, you can see why. (On Yomi everything was completely geared too :3) I find this to be a weird complaint, tbh.

I'm right there with you. Why should I pay extra to get a mule to put all my crap on? Why not just give me more inventory space? It's their fault for filling our inventory up with shite. That's by far one of the biggest problems I have with FFXI... /grumblety grumble

Wow, yeah, you leveled a bit of everything with the most contrasting of gear types. I think I've only ever leveled up 4 jobs to max level for endgame events, so my grievances may seem petty to those that really have to crunch their mog safe and satchel to work things out while changing jobs. But I for one liked giving any available setup to each and every class that was within a relevant spectrum of action, and in my opinion, it simply isn't practical with the current system. Even with porter moogles, it's a constant run and regrouping to get what you need, when you need it.
Maybe I'm dense this afternoon but, why would I need to have every single thing on my person when I need to go to my MH to change jobs anyway? Yeah, changing jobs was/is a pain in the *** because of gear. But I still see this as a very odd complaint! To each their own though, of course.
The only time I really ever muled was when I was leveling up and occasionally when crafting. :3 You figure out how to manage it after awhile!

Boy Scout is always prepared!
Never underestimate the power of the scout's code.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
