The golden age, really..
at the time I thought all but the bold were crap, now I just think they all were, Nickelodeon sucked, Avatar and it's sequel are the best things that channel has produced. (inb4 the hate)
(well the orange soda line was kind of funny, but that's only because I rather enjoyed orange soda at the time)

you would think, but the only boxes I've played with had on/off, TV's were usually more configurable.
go figure.
on another note: we lost all digital broadcasting here, or according to the Comcast guy even the local over the air is encrypted now and we need a box, which is BS it's supposed to be able to picked up with a digital tuner...
(to reiterate we don't have cable, but I saw a Comcast guy and asked him if he knew anything about the local broadcasting today). I need to look into it more, we did get the channels, now de don't and I've tried two sets with digital tuners...

That's weird.
DishNetwork (I think that's what we have) has a great caption menu, can set all kinds of stuff. Even color. <_<
