He also has his own cook, all the free time in the world and the finances to supplant that change with cosmetic surgery. Luxuries your every day jagoff doesnt have.
Jonah Hill doesnt have to sit in traffic for an hour on their way to work, sit at a desk for 9 hours, sit in traffic for another hour, come home and cook something, then try to get the recommended 8 hours of sleep for the next day. I havent even included potential children in this.
“The guy with 80 mil net worth can do this, you can do”
Absolute birdbrain take.
The complex makeup of obesity might also explain why GLP-1s don't work for many people. A sizable minority experience side effects like nausea; studies have shown a significant portion of patients lose less than 5% of their body weight on the drug, though they may experience other metabolic improvements.
I dont really care about the topic but this phrasing is wild:
Quote:
sizable minority experience side effects
Quote:
significant portion of patients lose less than 5%
always weird when they don't put a number on something they clearly have a number for, i mean they are fine saying 5% of body fat but not what this "significant portion of patients".
Stats can be used to say anything if you omit the right details for the sake of "simplicity".
Looked at the linked papers,
"significant portion of patients" = 17.8% were non-response (lost less than 5%).
The link for the side effects doesn't seem to be a direct one with an numbers in it.
If you're 300 pounds no amount of ozempic will do frak all to you.
You are very mistaken on that, friend
"Miracle Drug" is an understatement.
...Have you seen Jonah Hill?
Jonah Hill is unrecognizable as he showcases his biggest transformation yet amid 200-lb weight loss
Now that I'm home and can look things up easier, Dodik was right (mans usually is). *** dumbshit Eiryl is posting pictures from August 2017. Nine years ago lmao. "He took Ozempic, I know he did". Ozempic wasnt even FDA approved yet and I highly doubt a high profile actor would be taking experimental drugs. I dont think think the weight loss effects were known at that time.
Anyways did you guys notice that the whole body positivity trend started dying off as Ozempic for weight loss started gaining popularity? Odd coincidence.

I've only noticed people saying this, nothing about body positivity changing.

Do you guys understand how semiglutides work and why they would be ineffective? They make you feel full so you don't eat. You effectively starve yourself. That's why they lose weight so fast and look like skeletons. The nausea side effect? You ever eaten way too much, so much that you puke? That's your body's response to being full. The nausea these people endure isn't a side effect, it is the intended effect. It makes them not want to eat food because even the thought of one more bite makes them feel like puking. So then why aren't semiglutides effective for everyone? You want an honest answer? Some fatties will eat past the nausea. They force feed themselves. They do things like graze, eating small portions all day long. It's not that the semiglutide didn't do what it was supposed to do. It's, some people will eat through the nausea that's supposed to stymie their hunger. Semiglutides make it so you don't feel hungry so it's easier to stick to a diet with regulated eating times and meals, but some peoples habbits are so out of whack that not even turning off their hunger meter can stop them from eating.
Back in my day we smoked cigarettes and drank black coffee. None of this fandangled nonsense.
As for body postivity? I still see plus sized models in the victorias secret catalog so it's obviously still a thing, but it's not out loud as it was.
I had an idea that I wonder if somebody would want to run with. I am very bored of updating my gearswaps and I was wondering if there was a way to make this feel a bit less like work. Something that would collect all your inventory and populate an interface that's like in game /equipsets. Letting you just pick a slot, it opens up your inventory and lets you replace the piece of gear you want, then it will automatically update your luas.
Basically a GUI that will let you adjust your luas the same way /equipsets work in game.
I have zero idea how difficult this would be to create, just a random thought I had last night.
I never said the trend changed, I said it died down, went quiet, no ones clamoring for "body positivity, stop fat shaming"
died down, went quite, no ones saying anything sounds and awfully lot like changing
All I'm saying is I see a lot of people saying "isn't it funny that" and not a lot of the trend actually changing. Probably a social media generated nonsense that people already against body positivity latched on to.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
