Being diagnosed with it hasn't really helped me to be honest. The medication they gave me didn't really help me.

tbh i like how i feel when i drink but i avoid it as much as i can :P alcoholism runs in my family lol

It runs in my family too, but I avoid it because I'm strict about my caloric intake.

To be honest, I don't even know where that discipline came from. It didn't come from the fact that diabetes runs in both sides of my family.

my mom has diabetes but just because she has an unhealthy life style :P i think i lost a few relatives because they didnt take care of their diabetes

I think I thought I'd stop being depressed if I got in shape, but that wasn't what happened. I do think if I let myself get out of shape again it'd probably make my depression worse though.

I think it's more common than current figures would suggest. I don't remember the last time I felt anxiety because I just avoid all social situations.
