Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I usually get upwards of 2 grand for my refund.
You guys and your fancy student loan refunds! pfft
It's not free money though. I'm going to be over 100k in debt when I get my bachelor's.
This money is scott free (hence why it's so low) it's all financial aid ***.
(at least I hope I don't have to repay it... I don't think I do) I won't go near loans, bad bad idea. Loans are fine unless you're getting one of those degrees that you'll end up flipping burgers after you graduate.
I'm not ready for college right now. (Yeah I'm 22 :x) I really need to learn to be more responsible and get a steady job before I even consider school.
I don't work. I did get honors last year though.
I get really good grades but I think it's mainly because I don't have a job, I can spend all my time doing homework....
or playing games all week and doing my homework on Sunday.... yeah. I'm a pretty big procrastinator myself.
How do you guys afford housing or anything? >.> Do loans pay for that too?
I do not work yet either and i'm 26 :|
Although my line of work (Photography) is a bit hit or miss unless I just sell my photos as stock images. Photography, I know some video stuff as well but it's not my strong suit.
Ah, Yeah, taking out loans would be a big gamble with that degree. No offense.
lol yeah, I got another company helping me out with my tuition and ***anyway, so that and financial aid does me good.
I get money for housing from the GI bill, I was also using the NY state unemployment training program to get some extra monies, although that expired once I got my 2year degree.
I'm a computer science major. That field is pretty easy to find employment with the degree. I could be starting around 60-70k make it to 100k+ eventually.
Every other person I meet is some sort of Computer major lol I guess I should look into that
I started in PC repair, got certified in that, moved onto video editing, got certified in that, now doing photography major lol
So even if something falls through I can run a pc repair shop if I wanted to :p I should see if I can get any uh ... grants or anything for money :| I know I probably qualify for some. Is there any money in being a PC tech? I always thought the hardware side made quite a bit less.
I've made some decent money so far just doing small *** (ok it was for relatives that just want to shove money at me ... >.>... oh and the random friend who really just pays me with food :p)
I need to work on certs. I've got 5 years experience from being an IT in the Navy and by the time I finish school will be like 10 credits away from a bachelors degree, so all that plus being able to pull vet pref in some cases I should be well enough off, but all my professors keep telling me that certs are the big thing these days.

Are you going to be a programmer? I've never heard of needing certifications for being a programmer.
I tried to do programming once.
