I never fully understood why people hate him so much lol, he's like a special needs patient, I kinda feel sorry for him more than anything else, well I did until he randomly started talking to me like I was his partner one day, then I joined the hatewagon with everyone else.

So yaeh I found out in order to use the 7.1 function on these headset I got I need a sound card in my PC :|


yay more money I don't have that I will be spending :|

I have on board sound... in order to use the 7.1 I need some optical cable jack or some weird ***like that... I dunno.


I can use the headset on my PC/PS3/360 (the last two I can have it play audio through as 7.1)

2 side speakers in 7.1

5.1 has center, front pair and back pair plus sub woofer. 7.1 has center, front pair, side pair, back pair and sub woofer.

Most motherboard onboard sound chips are 2.1 and 5.1 sound. In order to access 7.1 you need a soundcard. My 7.1 headset is a USB wireless headset. I have to change modes when I plug it in, but the quality is

Depends on your set up really... Mine are all so close together that I can't tell the difference between 5.1 and 7.1.. I took out the sides and just run 5.1 to save on space. Dispersed throughout a big room though, you could probably hear the difference, although you'd have to actually be paying attention.

I think mine is rated to 5.1 but I dunno.


all I know is these headset sound almost mono without the 7.1... not really sure why :|
