An example of when I use guides would be that later in the game I will certainly look up which enemies I can steal valuable medicines and items from that I need for expensive customisations, like auto haste needs chocobo feathers so I would look that up, if of course I don't already know which in this case I know to get them from cactaurs having stole them already :)
Although I need to go back and investigate those glowing cactaur stones >_>
Recommend a guide for Bevelle temple, otherwise you might miss the hidden treasures and miss out on another aeon altogether.
It would be pretty damn hard to miss the treasures in Bevelle seeing as they are right in front of you at the end of the puzzle... unless I'm missing something here? Two treasures chests before the cutscene right?
Its not an ATB system. It called the CTB system: Conditional Turn Based. Everyone has a set turn order that can be altered depending on your/their actions in battle. Tidus has Quick Hit, for example.
I do have one very big question about what's going on in FF10 though, I'm gonna hold off asking anyone to see if the plot opens up more and explains which it most likely will but if not we're gonna have problems :3
PM me the question, I wont answer it but i am curious to know what it is.

You can't miss that one... it is required to open it to get to the end. There is a second hidden one that has no effect on the aeon.

Yes, one you get without any work and another you use a sphere to get to

The only thing that can make it confusing is the way the camera follows you on the glyph thing... once you build a mental map and just watch that it gets easy.
Bloody hell Laffy if you need a guide for Bevelle you are in need of some brain cells my friend.
I never needed a guide, I've beaten X like 4 times. I was concerned you might. :p
As I mentioned countless times before, I don't use them for this very reason, anybody who needs a guide for a puzzle like that fails so badly they should just stop breathing.

problem about ffx was.... a friend played the eff out of it, and between her spoiling a lot of it and making me see all the AMV cutscenes (youtube)... just felt like BLAAAH

Blanket statements are fun~
What? It's absolutely true, that puzzle could be figured out by a child. Only a lazy dumb *** who can't think for themselves would need a guide. It's not like there is a risk you can miss the treasure in which case I would understand completionists using a guide, in this case it's literally right in front of you lol.
<.< That means I'd have to actually use them. If I do play it, I should use the characters I don't normally use. So Kimahri, Lulu, Rikku, and Yuna pretty much.

Man, when you're not complaining about the way people play games, you're insulting people who might not have great puzzle-solving skills.

I never played with out using everyone... How do you not use Rikku D: you can swap her in after a monster attacks, and her get a second turn in alot of the time then swap back to someone less squishy so its like a free action.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
