Minecraft Anyone?

I just got minecraft today and was wondering where to get mods and what is a the ffxiah server called? ^^

Blackfrost is the FFXIAH server, but it is currently down due to budget issues, it should be back up next month.

Does anyone have a survival server that has room for a booch? :)

Ok so i wanted along with my version 1.3.1 of minecraft a 1.2.5 version. so i can play the other mods that arent up to date. so how would i go about doing that?

i know there is minecraft portable which will allow me to run a different version of minecraft. but how do i get it to download the 1.2.5 version of minecraft?

yo all was wondering should we stick with the old version of bukkit so we can use our last world we had going on or should we upgrade and start a new?

turned off the server so i could upload the world ppl was working on as well the nether give me a hour or 2 but make sure u guys didnt update your clients out of 1.2.5

well 1.2.5 cuz i know everyone worked hard on stuff but i can upgrade it up but it means we wont have access to the new stuff to be mined

I thought you could update the map itself? 1.3 is pretty sweet, what with Tripwires, Hooks, Emeralds, Jungle/Desert Temples...

I haven't played Minecraft since it was still in beta...

You can update the server to 1.31 and craftbukkit to 1.31R1.1 and still use the old map. We will just have to explore out far enough to find new land to get emeralds and find temples. I can also add emeralds to one of the shops for a reasonable price. Basically any chunks generated after you update will be 1.31 chunks with the newer things.

I have reset the warps and worldprotects to the best of my memory, the nether was lost in the transition to the new server, which is not all bad since the old nether was very laggy due to spawned water and obsidian lakes. If you find a warp missing please post here the xyz co-ordinates of the warp and the name and i will remake it next time im on.

Other notes:
PVP has been enabeled, but is disabled in towns and other worldguard areas. Most Worldguard areas will tell you when you enter them, I will be adding a exit warning from all PVP protected areas later.

Economy and Sign essentals are not yet working, please be patient as Gate updates plugins and permissions.

/Warp Newfoundland : this warp has been added and is 1.3 land, please be nice and share, replant a few cocoa beans if you take them, ect.

Wanting to make a retractable staircase for my underground city, anyone know how to do one and could assist me in creating it?

The one I'd like is a staircase wrapping around the wall going down to my town area. I've seen one on another server before, but no idea how to make it all connected.
