I figured out what was going on with item frames, its a mistake in the worldguard program not a bug on our end. If you do /region flag entitiy-item-frame-destroy deny you cant place items into the frames, even as a OP. So when i work on the spawn i have to turn that flag off and turn it back on when im done. Still no clue why WE isnt working if its upgraded though.
I haven't had the time to upgrade it right now I'm letting gate access my account for the server he should be working on it but I'm working for the next week so I won't be able to do much.

I made a offline server for home use only and everything worked fine, we're both on the same world and we can see each other, but somehow only i (the host) can destroy/move/create/whatever anything in the world. whatever my friend does stays unaffeected. f.e. he destroys a block, the breaking animation shows but the block is still there and nothing is in his inventory. but when i destroy a block it stays destroyed and player2 can pick up this block and it'll be in his inventory, but not when he tries to detroy anything by himself. what did we do wrong? I think you have to change his gamemode for him. I belive by default people joining a single player world are in adventure mode.

A thing unique to multiplayer is that there is a spawn protection so if your friend is hanging out around the spawn then he won't be able to break anything. That might be your problem. Nooooooooooooooooooo!
The server is down. I got my server Running Minecraft at the moment just doing a creative server But I have WE working. Also got a dyna-map going.
Server. 74.209.179.41:26365 Dyna-Map. 74.209.179.41:26366 No white list to build But I am going to white list creative to any of you who want it. Ok server restarts every 6 hours if nobody is on server shutdowns at midnight and restarts 5 minutes later backups every 5 hours just so everyone knows. World Edit is fixed and the server is good to go :) sorry just got home from work and had time to take care of it.
Edit: Also working on integrating Dynmap into the server. Edit #2: Server is going to be down until I can figure out what is wrong with it not wanting to run restored a backup from 5 this morning still overloading on memory but for now I'm taking a nap. Server is up and running everyone
Duz I added a smithing and repairing shop to new spawn town :D also flattened out the land outside of the area
I tried to use //regen to get back the hills and chunks started vanishing left and right. its gonna need to be set back a 2nd time.
Set back to 15:00 1/8/13 so everything is back to its original state
My server is back up, I don't know why it was down I am looking into it.
Is there a reason for all the obsidian towers on drakes server? They are kinda close to my building area, and someone made a little dirt hut close by.
We recently re-opened our creative world on our server. We now use a plotting system that allows players to claim their own 64x64 block plots.
 We've already got quite a lot of cool stuff built by players. I'm anxious to see some really talented artists come and build some really epic stuff. Our IP is play.finalheavenMC.us (To get the Creative World, use the Gate spell, /cast gate, then enter the green portal at the Nexus) Hmm, I seem to have a MineCon cape on my character now, even though I did not attend MineCon, nor I use the Capes Mod.
This happen to anyone else? Whitelist me please :DDD
