Hm. it actually seems to be a bit buggy with regards to atma etc.
Hopefully he fixes it soon. Anyone have the previous spreadsheet?

Atma issued fix. It was a minor typo.

Also made an update a few hours ago to add in Restraint as a buff option, which I'd forgotten about before.

Also updated with claimed base crit rates for Ukko's and RR, 30% and 15% respectively. Have seen a few claims for it, but not the actual testing, so just taking it on faith for now.

Testing for ukko's:

WSed lvl1 bunnys in ronf counting only ukko's that first hit landed. All done at 100-110% tp. 56 crits in 100 ukkos wearing 0% crit rate gear.56-25 from dex/merits=31.

I killed 100 more bunnys. This time wearing 19% crit rate. 72/100 were crits. 72-25-19=28%.

I went out to abyssea la'th and ukko's frogs that were DC. I fought them down to low hp(IE:only first hit landed) and ukko's them with 100-110tp. Once they had all lvled I cleaved till they were DC again. rinse repeat. using RR/15% crit rate gear I didn't see 1 ukko's that looked like a noncrit in 100 mobs. I am 99.9% sure ukko's first hit is 30% crit rate.

trying to explain why da is better than 4 str was not the case


the case that in some thread ppl say x is better than y and in another thread the same y is better than the same x


firts thread say 2da beat 4 str and 9 skill o(r whatever uthers is)
and the 2nd thread say 5str beats 2da clearly

BOTH of those statements cannot be true unless we are talking a very little difference (that that the 1 str have over the 9 skill)

they CAN both be true

because you cannot swap out your grip for WS, you have to consider both WS and white damage (dot) for the grip comparisons.

you can freely swap out the body, so you only consider WS damage in that case.

there's no contradiction.

ahh so what you are saying is that the da will make me proc ws faster and theirby output what the str would have done for dmg on my tp swings

where as under the ws 5 str would be batter than 2%da

bassicaly what tips the balance is the massive dmg from ws compared to tp swing or extra swing in ws with no ftp modifier.
