Now can we all stop saying things that aren't true (This was incorrect for about a minute, I copy and pasted myself incorrectly and had some delusion that Wieldance was Scars).
Also, "If I was wrong" is not proper English. If I were wrong is the proper way to phrase it.
People have this horrible tendency to not give up when they're wrong, because the prospect of changing one's mind and remaining "correct" is far less desirable than being correct and not being treated like an unknowledgeable and stubborn ignoramus.
Why would were be used instead of was in that sentence?
Because it's subjunctive.
Were is subjunctive?
"If I were wrong."
I don't see a mood in the sentence to justify a subjunctive verb, or is it based on assumption(not a mood).
It just sounds closer to conditional tone the sentence than anything else, but I'm not sure if the English language acknowledges conditional like it exists in Spanish.
I'm not asking because I know, but because I don't know.

So today my LS leader informed me that triggering yellow !! did not help on +2 drops that the nm only drop 1 off
Like with Briareus the +2's should only be affected by treasure hunter
apparently the information steams from a BST soloing Briareus for his +2 items.
maybe the bst was only after the one drop that is related to treasure hunter. The theory Jinjo brought to light does make sense
I don't know if it's the same for all NMs there, but while I was farming Carabosse she dropped Card of Voyage almost every kill. (I'm inclined to say 100% but of course I don't have data to back that up, but it sure seemed like a lot)I had TH8+ every kill and only proc'd yellow whenever it was a NIN proc. However, I can say with absolute certainty that she did not drop a Voyage Coin until we proc'd yellow. This is after killing her at least 20 times that run.
I've made a few cara empys as well and it's not 100% even with th8 but yeah, pretty damn high.
Out of my 100+ kills I saw maybe 5 voyage coins without yellow proc as well. mentally I just figured at the time "it must have a much lower drop rate than the other" without second guessing the mechanics
I suppose that makes sense. I'll have to take down some data next time I farm Cara again.
Over 150 Carabosse, probably 30 Briareus, over 100 Chloris, over 70 Glavoid, since the changes. If you saw the drops "without yellow", I'm going to say that you just didn't see yellow.

It's probably true, but I personally can't rule out them dropping (very rarely) without yellow.
Even if they can, it happens with such an extremely low probability that it's not worth your time at all to try to farm them without yellow.
