I see in both the Blu and Pld guides, that the sword can be augmented with Double Attack +6. BG wiki says 4 is the max. What stones are being used to get +6? Or is Bg wiki just wrong on their cap?

BG wiki is correct, the OP is mistaken for both PLD and BLU.

BGwiki's augment for A!skirmish gear comes from a Famitsu article.
Said Famitsu article came straight from the Devs.
So... Any discrepancies... I'd err that any nonFamitsu reported augments are either mistakes or outright lies. *coughLinosAllSongs+3cough*

Out of curiosity, has anyone else happened to notice that Retinal Glare seems more accurate than it should be? Anecdotally, it seems to get a MACC bonus but I haven't done any formal testing.

Yes, it seems to have a significant macc boost with it. I'm curious if they didn't do that to ensure that the flash effect would land. Similar to how Flash is very accurate. On high NMs where Subduction is getting resisted 9/10, I'd notice Retinal Glare getting resisted 1/10.

It has a pretty significant macc boost built in, enough that it would land unresisted without an ilvl weapon on lvl120+ mobs and NM's. I'm pretty sure it's essentially auto-capped on anything that doesn't have elemental resistance or a meva gimmick like daquwaqa.

Okay, that would line up with my observations then. I do wonder if it has to do with Flash having high macc and that was just applied to the spell as a whole.

TP, CDC, Subduction, PDT, Sanguine Blade, and Requiescat sets are most important, and a decent physical spell set helps too. You don't really need anything else (assuming proper idle gear is a given), though I suppose a MDT set can be handy for Bhaflau bosses. You can easily do it in sparks gear, but half decent 119 gear can clear optimized routes for both Arrapago and Bhaflau in ~20 minutes each as /THF.

Don't forget that those elementals are in abundance in SoA areas. Dual elementals are also in Abyssea but I don't recall if they have the same TP moves/live long enough against an ilvl blue.

Palling Salvo is from the solo butterflies and has a nasty bio effect.

Saurian slide is obviously from the vellk.

I can confirm that I've seen a hybrid ice/water elemental out by a lake/spring by point 4 in morimar basalt fields. We got the flutterinis in inner razkanar somewhere, I haven't seen the other hybrid elementals. I'm trying to get my plans in order for thursday when the patch hits for where I want to go to learn the spells first thing after I get on.

I LOVE learning new BLU spells, it's like Christmas every time. NEW TOYS!

Oh, if anyone wants to see, I mirrored my spell guide that originally was on old wiki, and placed it on BGwiki. Yes, I know it's VERY EXTREMELY long, because I've built onto it as time went on. It's gone into every single spell that's out for the job. I'm a bit of a wordy person when it comes to writing. If anyone finds it useful, I hope it helps in any way. The reason I'm still updating it, is because I've been thanked by a whole bunch of aspiring BLUs back when I was on Asura who read it. I just want to give it some new life.

I can't post my gearset because it won't let me make one at the moment, seems to be a bug with it, but my current set for Magic Fruit is:

Telchine Hat - Cure Potency +4%
Telchine Chasuble - Potency +8%
Buremte Gloves - Potency recieved +13%
Telchine Braconi - Potency +7%
Telchine Pigaches - Potency +5%
Phalaina Locket - Potency +4%, Potency recieved +4%
Tempered Cape +1 - Potency +6%
Vocane Ring - Potency Recieved +5%
Kunaj Ring - Potency Recieved +5%
Chuq'aba Belt - Potency Recieved +5%

Beatific, Star Earring and Aqua Sachet make up the rest.

This set gives:

Cure Potency +34%
Cure Recieved +19%
MIND +138
Healing Skill +28

This set cures for 946HP, what I`m wondering is, has anyone got a max potency/recieved set and has done over 1k with fruit? How much can it do?
Telchine Hat - Cure potency received 7%
Telchine Chasuble - Cure potency +8%
Telchine Gloves - Cure potency 7%
Telchine Braconi - Received 7%
Telchine Pigaches - Potency +7%
Phalaina Locket - Potency +4%, Potency received +4%
Tempered Cape +1 - Potency +6%
Lebeche Ring - Potency +3%
Mendicant's earring - Potency +5%
Kunaj Ring - Potency Received +5%
Chuq'aba Belt - Potency Received +5%

50% potency, and 28% cure potency received. Does well over 1k

I think the harpy also drops the rawhide mask, which is another very useful piece.

What are some good spots to farm the elementals and butterfly? I went to Ra'kaznar Inner, but it was my first time there, which made finding anything somewhat tricky :/

Got Spectral Floe before work, kind of a long casting time. Couldn't tell the damage because I used on another of those elementals. MAB trait makes me think each of these will relate to the stats the rings give. And those two other spells have some new interesting traits!

Oh, and the range looked pretty huge, centered on caster.

Where to learn new spells:
1. Saurian Slide: Warrior Velkk all over Majami used it often IF you don't have lots of buffs on. If you do, they use their 4 hit dispell instead.
2. Palling Salvo: Single butterflies in Outer Raka worked fine, no aggro or linking for me at 4 different camps. It just takes a while to get to them, use the wiki maps for spawn locations
3. Ice/Water spells morimar at biv 3/4 each has an elemental right there and weather was often
4.earth/dark we got in yorcia right at the 150 kinetic point warp start of yorcia skirmish area

Working on the last 4, but no wind or fire weather up and I dont wanna try skirmish.

Some quick info on the nukes:

They each cost around 116MP and deal a bit more damage than something like Charged Whisker. They cost 8 points each to set.

Searing Tempest: Fire damage + Burn. Attack Bonus trait
Blinding Fulgor: Light damage + Flash (12s). Magic Evasion Bonus trait
Spectral Floe: Ice damage + Terror. Magic Attack Bonus trait
Scouring Spate: Water Damage + Attack Down. Magic Defense Bonus trait
Anvil Lightning: Thunder Damage + Stun. Accuracy Bonus trait
Silent Storm: Wind Damage + Silence. Evasion Bonus trait
Entomb: Earth Damage + Petrify. Defense Bonus trait
Tenebral Crush: Dark Damage + Defense Down. Magic Accuracy Bonus trait

Not testing WSC or anything since the account isn't mine, however I'd be surprised if they weren't all dINT + primary stat aspected to that element or dINT + INT
