For T1 nukes and Helix, Hagondes Feet with augmented MAB or Klimaform with Savant+2 feet?

Ok so first, foolish assumption, people max gearing SCH are using spellcast.

Question time.
Why are you suggesting:
Hedera(stun)/Manasa(enf)/Anhur(pre&enh) combo?

Seems to me you could go with:
Eirene's(precast&stun)/Manasa(enh&enfeeb)
and free up 1 inventory space

*if youre for some reason using it,(Hedera), to melee....I guess its ok.
or if youre using it for conserve mp then why not use an Austerity belt for higher activation rate?

For stun its more about the recast reduction rather than the quicker casting as stun is already a very quick cast. So 10% FC reduces casting time by 10% and recast time by 5% now 5% haste reduces casting time by 5% and recast time by 5%. So like I said above its all about the recast so both bodies are exactly the same which leaves macc+7 vs macc+10 so hedera wins. If you are capping fast cast then the +10 on eriene's is pretty useless so hedera's is the highest haste % in that slot.

Haste has no effect whatsoever on casting speed.

*haste doesnt give spellcasting time-

*after 110+ delve boss runs, an untold # of legion and other runs either set will stun just fine with +/-3M.acc and their respective recast timers(solo stun many of those)

*the point I was trying to make was minimizing unnecessary inventory to bolster other options. I understand what Chimera was saying with stacking like terms, I just dont see a realistic situation where you have something spamming TP moves so fast that you will need to use hedera over manteel.

Hagondes Hat>Buremete Hat for Helix it seems. I spent the past few days scrounging up WKR wins in order to get it, with the hopes that it would blow Hagondes away. Doing a solid ~100ish more with Hagondes unfortunately :(

To be fair, my Hag. Hat has 27 MAB on it though.

On fodder, Cryohelix with Klimaform/Hailstorm with Savant Boots+2

Dont use any Obis with helix. They get day/weather bonus 100% even without Obi, use MAB or INT belts.

From the update:

Looks like it will probably replace Hedera Cotehardie. Can someone do the math to see if 3% haste + 5% fast cast is better than the 5% haste on Hedera?

It depends a little on exact values, but Vanir should come out ahead of Hedera slightly. Big question would be if you need to get buffs cast faster or if you'd prefer to save a little MP. It's probably a bit of a wash, really.

Coming back from a very very long hiatus where I wasn't even geared at 75 cap, should I bother with SCH? A lot of the gear in the sets seems like you would almost need a group of people dedicated to helping you for days on end. Is this true or could I solo most of it on my NIN?

To make a decent stun scolar Mviinyi you can do it at this point either by AH some items and using the eminence system. Items you may have trouble getting are usually only those that drop from VW.
Skirmish it's easy to make a quick group to get what pieces you need cause people would join if only for the +2 stones.
Other than that Delve groups happen a lot and stunning is needed anyway.

For SCH with relic have there been any major changes in optimal light/dark fastcast sets?

Relic109/119
Hat looks like a pretty amazing fastcast/stun
Feet with free augs look like nice LightArt/FastCast

SkirmishStaff+2
Looks like it has a ton of m.acc

I feel like Gendewitha+1 would still win for healing. Perhaps even replace heka's/nefer?

Seems like with the new 109/119 Relic gear there would be a new optimum mix of gear for cures/nukes specifically.

Hat - not a stun option because it does not effect spells when using Alacrity. If you're not using stratagems(mega boss comes to mind since this is the only time in a fracture run I get marches) then it could work, but offers less versatility than Nahtirah hat, which covers all stun situations and fastcast scenarios just fine. If you're in need of fast recast for other spells, such as hasting, erasing frequently, or Klimaforming yourself(apart from Alacrity, it also doesn't work under Manifestation so you couldn't use it for your party either) then this is the way to go.

Body - I actually used Argute +2 for my Enhancing set already since I didn't have Anhur, and used the augment to relax some of the inventory for Embrava. With that said the extra +3 enhancing skill is nice but if you didn't already use this, this update probably didn't earn it a spot in your inventory.

Hands - No.
Legs - OK for stun if you think accuracy is going to be an issue..but there are plenty of other easier options in the leg slot that give haste+4%.
Feet - As said, best fast cast feet available. We used these for stun already and now they're a bit better for stun. All is good.

With the return of Delve, I might have to use my SCH to stun stuff.

What's a decent set nowadays with AF1 and AF2 reforged being available?

Looks like Haruspex Hat is a decent head if natirah is not available?

Please share your sets. I need to know which part to upgrade.

This is what I'm currently using, I'm seeing an 8-9 second recast in the plugin and I can't seem to get it any lower.. what am I doing wrong? I've tried swapping in more FC whilst maintaining haste and it's not having any effect. I'm sure I've had a sub 8 second recast in the past but can't seem to get there again. Maybe I had the COR roll but I don't think so.

From looking at the past threads it looks like other people are at the 8-9 second area too, am I wrong about thinking I had it lower? I definitely remember someone mentioning 6 second recast and talking about solo stunning, but perhaps they were talking about using Alacrity.

I've tried swapping in academic's bracers, academic's loafers, Gendewitha gages and incantor stone. I don't have vanir cotehardie.

Haste 25%
Fast Cast 25%
Macc +97 (not counting staff)

Only time I`ve had a 6 second recast is with Alacrity and my set is identical to yours except I haven't upgraded my feet yet.

Edit: I also use Eddy Necklace.

Whilst you are affected by the corresponding weather for your spell, the effect of Alacrity/Celerity is enhanced.

Additional fast cast for stun if you have Thunderstorm and Alacrity active.
