Telchine augmented with Regen Pot+
Bookworm's Cape augmented with Regen Pot+
*Swap Arbaetal Bracers +1 for Perp.

max duration:~ HP+108/tick for 327 seconds.
max potency:~ HP+120/tick for 234 seconds.
dur. + perp w/ arb.+1:~ HP+108/tick for 775 seconds.
pot. + perp w/ arb.+1:~ HP+117/tick for 596 seconds.
edit: can swap to ambu cape & telchine hat for max duration, 79hp/tick for 380 seconds; w/ perpetuance & arb.+1 hands: 904s.
More edits: Regen potency bonus on Musa is +25, not +25%. are 120 & 117 correct? I did it as (64*1.15)+back+musa+telchine. I can't think of a method to lower it further.

(64+10)*(1+.25musa+.15arbatel)=103.6
is the regen back not a static increase, but a percent? 64*1.5=96
or perhaps added after everything else? 64*1.4+10=99.6
regardless, I can't seem to hit 89 in the math unless I drop the back entirely.
64*1.4=89.6
edit: ah, right there's more I could still do for duration; calling it max is wrong, I could swap to ambu cape & telchine hat, for 80hp/tick regen and even longer duration. 380s; w/ perpetuance: 904s.
Regen potency bonus on Musa is +25, not +25%. I definitely understood incorrectly.

brain doesn't work well at 4am; my assumption about musa was wrong from the start. spoiler'd useless post. hm, 64*.15=9.6; 64*.25=16
64+9+16=89
64+10+9=83; 83*.15=12.45; 83*.25=20.75
83+12+20=115

if it's not 25, that explains why the nubers always seem 1 off.
if it is 25, are we not getting an actual 25% potency boost?

I'm at 96hp/tic (with light arts)
64(base) + 50%(from gears) = 96
Gears are : 25% from Musa + 15% from Arbatel Bonnet +1 + 10% from Bookworm cape

In Doryl's defense, the in-game augment text got patched a few months ago.
It said 25% before that. (it still was just +25, it was simply a translation error I guess?)

i said it's 25% because i tested it, not from augment text !
I have exactly 50% boost in my regen V from the base effect (64)
and only 3 pieces gives boost (head15/back10/staff??)
I don't need to be an expert to deduce what is augment for Musa...

Considering they went as far as to change the text from "25%" to "25" I doubt it's 25%, but hey, what do I know, it's SE we're talking about after all.
Considering multiple people where whining about real numbers not corresponding to the expected values, it sounds pretty much likely that value being +25 instead of 25% is the culprit of the difference, no?
Would love some more detailed tests of course, so we can finally clear this doubt.
Have the old +X% pieces been tested btw?

OK, i did many tests.
Without light arts :
Base = 40hp/tic
Base + Musa(max) = 65hp/tic
Base + Bookworm's cape(max) = 50hp/tic
Base + Arbatel Bonnet +1 = 47hp/tic
Base + Musa(max) + Bookworm's cape(max) = 75hp/tic
Base + Arbatel Bonnet +1 + Musa(max) + Bookworm's cape(max) = 82hp/tic
With light arts :
Base = 64hp/tic
Base + Musa(max) = 89hp/tic
Base + Bookworm's cape(max) = 74hp/tic
Base + Arbatel Bonnet +1 = 71hp/tic
Base + Musa(max) + Bookworm's cape(max) = 99hp/tic
Base + Arbatel Bonnet +1 + Musa(max) + Bookworm's cape(max) = 106hp/tic
It seems there's is a bad translation on the Arbatel bonnet +1
It's not 15%, but a flat 7hp additive
and if you go on the bg page of the original Abyssea head SCH :
Svnt. Bonnet +2
we can see that each regen tiers spell win 1 hp/tic, with 5hp/tic for Regen V.
I think they augmented the Arbatel Bonnet lvl109 with +6hp/tic and the 119 with +7hp/tic

Interesting. So su5 on Run isn't a % either. Or it is and plugged into the equation before all the other bonuses or something?

Hey guys, new to scholar and returning player from post-abyssea and I have no idea how to gear early. None of the sets in the op load for me, and can't find many (if any) other resources online.
I am early into gearing, probably only Escha NMs/NQ Ambu level, but just looking for info as to what I should be working towards (before Reforge+3, merlinic+1 and all the other stuff I see in the late sets).
Any help much appreciated, currently getting my AF/relic/emp upgraded to +1 and rocking NQ jhakri lol.

spin the Oseem wheel of dissapointment.
Might suggest a faster solo job like BLU for early game since most stuff now requires a ton of gil to buy and BLU is probably one of the best jobs for the task.

Can someone post an update to date Helix set? With Skrymir Cord +1 available, that is a LOT of magic damage available in the waist slot (I believe, only +9 was available previously).
What does the best Helix set look like today? Let's say you max out Magic Damage with an NQ/HQ Skrymir Cord, I presume you'd be able to add more INT/MAB/Conserve MP(?) elsewhere?
